Get pregnant with the Word

Introduction

Get pregnant with the Word of God might look like a strange title, but it is not. I will take you by the hand and show you step by step comparing a natural pregnancy to a spiritual pregnancy. This spiritual pregnancy means using the Word of God as a seed and conceiving it in your heart by speaking it out of your mouth this seed from the Word is an incorruptible seed. I am fully aware that a seed needs to grow and that it can take some time, the same as with a natural pregnancy where it takes nine months before there is a baby. 

In Genesis 26:12, we can find the story of Isaac, son of Abraham and Sarah. He sowed in the land of famine and reaped a 100 fold return on it in the same year because the Lord blessed him, and he began to prosper until he became very prosperous. The power of the seed I am talking about is the seed that has a miracle spirit-filled life inside of it, to produce after its kind. To perform the promise within and for you to live a whole blessed and prosperous life that lasts and stands generations after you. 

For me after having had cancer in 2009 that the doctors treated with chemotherapy and radiation that wrecked my body, giving me a lot of terrible symptoms and horrible pain that made me have a lifesaving surgery in 2016, but I was not just dealing with physical challenges there were also financial challenges for I was in debt. Lack of having a clean refrigerator, clean storage for there was nothing in there, so I was in constant need of miracles for my groceries and monthly payments. The story did not end there because I got divorced after nine and a half years of marriage where there was domestic violence. My ex-husband became transgender, and my children had to deal with that, so there was also a lot of emotional wounds in my household, but the moment I found the scripture in Matthew 1:18 NKJV where it says:

"Mary was found with child of the Holy Spirit,"

To me, I knew I had to get pregnant with the word and be found with the child of the Holy Spirit. Maybe you need to do the same? Well, then come with me on the journey of this spiritual pregnancy.

Chapter 1 The virgin girl Mary

Have you ever read the story about the virgin girl Mary that became pregnant without having sexual intercourse? You can read all about it in Luke 1:30,31 NKJV 

"then the angel said to her; Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God, and behold you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus."

Well, you can imagine that all this the angel of God was speaking about sounded so strange in her ears? Can you imagine something like this happening to you? How would we react to an angel of God appearing to us? We would probably run to the internet to google it and see if someone else has had the same situation happening to them in our day and age. Or we would go and check with the doctor if this thing the angel had spoken was even possible. Instead, virgin girl Mary asked the angel, "How will this happen?". Since she had never slept with a man, she was going to be married to Joseph. Her asking was not because virgin girl Mary did not believe the angel; no, Mary just asked the question to understand more. She did not doubt, even when it all seemed so impossible in the natural realm. The angel then answered her in Luke 1:35 NKJV

"The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you."

Let us compare it to some situations that look just as impossible in our natural realm, like virgin girl Mary's impossible situation. Maybe it seems like there is no way out for you. No one who can help you: be it a negative report from a doctor saying that you have three months to live or that you have a severe blood disease

that you have to learn to live with it, or perhaps it is your banker telling you that the debt is so alarming that you are broke and bankrupt, they might even repossess your house within nine months, or your business is failing. It can also be because of physical, mental, or sexual abuse in your past; you can still not function properly, and depression or fear, anxiety, for example, has taken hold of you. It can be in the area of marriage that nothing is sunny or rosy within the union, and everything is going south. You are on the verge of a breakdown. It can also be an emotional situation like stress, grief, depression, or maybe a financial problem like poverty, lack, and debt, for instance, and you have been living this way for years already. Maybe people have even told you that it can never change or that it is your lot in life, then please keep on reading. 

How are you getting out of these negative things? What if the angel that came to Mary came to you and said the same thing he told Mary to you? Would you feel relief, or would you be confused about the "how" it will happen because it has never happened before? I do not know how I would react, but I genuinely like Mary's calmness in this all and the wisdom she used when she replied to the angel. Mary, in a sense, accepted what God asked, or better said, what God proposed to her. God never came dominantly, and He sends the angel to ask if she wanted to receive this incorruptible seed in her heart, in her body, if she wanted to house a miracle within her womb from Him. Mary said, "let it be to me according to your words."

Virgin girl Mary received the word and held it in her heart. Do you know that Papa God does the same with us? He never dominates us to take, receive and accept the word. He will always ask us, and it will be our own choice from our own free will if we accept or reject the Word. In my Live@5 sessions on Facebook or in my videos on YouTube, everything first starts with a decision; we decide what we receive or reject. 

Now we will unravel the mystery of this story of the virgin girl Mary. What was about to happen to Mary was a wonder, a miracle. So without having intercourse, still a seed was planted within her womb through the Holy Spirit with the power of the Highest overshadowing it because Mary received it with her words in her heart, saying yes to it, Luke 1:38 NKJV

"Then Mary said, Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word. And the angel departed from her."

Mary mixed the words of the angel with faith, believing the words came from God Himself. Proverbs 18:21 NKJV

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue,

And those who love it will eat its fruit."

Your tongue mixes the word that we liken to seed with faith, but that is the same for every kind of word your tongue mixes, be it a word of death or life.

The thing that happened to Mary has never happened before or after in the natural. It was a one-time thing. Yet the same thing happens when we now take the word of God as a seed and plant it by speaking it into our very own hearts. Our hearts are as a womb as a female egg cell, and in a sense, we voice activate the seed, the bible verse, the promise of God. All because your tongue is the pen of a ready writer Psalms 45:1 NIV:

"My tongue is the pen of a skillfull writer."

Your heart is a spiritual womb, like a spiritual female egg cell. And when you "conceive" within your heart, that word becomes flesh in your life, something you can perceive with the five senses. 

Power of the seed

That tiny insignificant seed from the word of God is incorruptible.

For instance, 1 Peter 2:24 NKJV

"who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed."

You can take this verse as a seed. It has a promise within it to heal, and there is life and miracle within it; also, there is healing faith within this word, healing power. If you are barren, for example, and speak this promise of God forth and then conceive this meaning, believe it with all of your heart, it becomes a wonder that takes place. This word, this bible verse, this promise will become flesh. Something you can see, hear, smell, touch, and feel. It becomes noticeable in our natural realm. You will bring forth a baby, so to speak. In this example, a real baby because this is what you required. You will bring forth the life, the health, the healing power that's alive within this word. 

All this is also true in the natural of the male seed, which is called sperm; it is a tiny seed. It is a living cell that consists of three parts, namely: the head, midpiece, and tail. In the sperm is all the necessary biological information; in it is DNA, a power called A, X, and Y chromosomes. When combined with the female egg, the cell produces an embryo, it has the power to reproduce, and there is even more within the sperm of the male seed. When the sperm seed is of a cow, it will reproduce cows. When it is from a dog, it will reproduce dogs, and when it is from a human being, it will produce a human being, for it possesses human life within. The seed of the word of God is similar; it will produce after its kind. Whatever you sow, you will reap Galatians 6:7 NKJV:

"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."

There is power in the seed that only comes forth when combined in your heart, likened to a womb produced by the mouth, the tongue when mixed with faith. 

You will see a change in your impossible situation when you do this, whatever your situation might be [I just took barrenness as an example] for your good.

Suppose you want to get out of impossible-looking, negative situations like those I have just portrayed in this first chapter. Please keep reading because you will get out of them when you follow this principle. I know it for sure because it happened to me. The things we see are subject to change, and with God, all things are possible when we believe. That is the way I got out of so many impossible-looking negative situations and stepped into what looked like a brand new life. All other lines about this principle I will be explaining parallel to a pregnancy. And I will take a couple, naming them Adamo and Eva, who will be our couple to follow in this process. We all came through conception, pregnancy, and birth. All of us derived from a seed, a tiny insignificant seed no one could see with the natural eyes. I told you what virgin girl Mary answered to all that the angel of the Lord had spoken to her? To everything that looked so impossible? In Luke 1:38 NKJV:

"Virgin girl Mary said, Be it to me according to your word."

Wait, what did she say! Mary agreed with the words. She accepted the words as truth and received words that seemed strange, crazy to us in the natural realm. How many of us agree with the word as this girl did? How many of us, in reality, accept the Word? How in the world could she tell her friends about these things that were about to happen to her? Could she maybe have said; [in our day and age, she would have communicated it via social media] "Hey BFF's guess what, I am getting pregnant! Through the Holy Spirit, Lol.

With the power of the Highest and get a son, I already know what his name is. It is Jesus. What you

think about that BFF's?" #blessed. Her friends, her Best Friends Forever, would think that she was silly, or maybe think that she was joking around or that she had become mentally ill and in need of a psychiatrist. Have you ever thought about Mary's parents? How could she break the news to them? What about her entire family and the whole neighborhood? Whenever you are pregnant, there comes a time people start noticing it. But most of all, what to say to the man she was going to marry, named Joseph? How was Mary going to explain all of this to him, with whom she was not married yet? Still, she gave the Word spoken by the angel first place. Virgin girl Mary raised this word above any other word, above the words from friends, parents, family members, neighbors, and even Joseph's words Mary's husband-to-be. She placed it above her natural senses. 

Even the capital punishment of stoning she would have to face, yet she set these words from God that the angel delivered to her above the outcome. Another consequence was that Joseph could leave her with much show. Instead, she believed in God more than anything else, and she trusted God had confident trust in the words of God. A bit similar to this whole story of the virgin girl, Mary is another story about a supernatural pregnancy.  

Impossible

In this story, we meet Mary's relative Elizabeth, who was called barren. This means Elizabeth could not reproduce, incapable of producing offspring, unfruitful, who was already old. 

Luke 1:36 NLT

"What's more, your relative Elizabeth has become pregnant in her old age! People used to say she was barren, but she has conceived a son and is now in her sixth month."

She was in the sixth month of the pregnancy. Here we find a woman in old age, not in middle age but old age, and barren. Given the name "barren," people called a woman who does not conceive. She was unfruitful. This was undoubtedly an impossible case. She was old and barren yet became pregnant against all odds through her husband's seed. Luke 1:5-7 tells us the whole story of who Elizabeth and her husband Zacharias are.

Luke 1:5-7 NKJV

"There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years.”

We can read here that it looks like these two, Elizabeth and Zacharias, had everything going for them. He a priest, she a daughter of Aaron who has been the high priest in the time of Moses. According to the ordinances, they are doing everything blameless; they were righteous; still, they were childless. The reason for this is that we are living in a fallen world. There is an enemy who was not an enemy when Papa God created the heavens and the earth. This enemy did not withstand creation, but he does withstand us.

Now this woman Elizabeth married to Zacharias, and a priest lacked stature. Elizabeth fell in disgrace with people all around her for years and years and years. Growing up, friends and relatives had married and gotten pregnant, having had many children except her. I can imagine the hurt and the pain on the inside of Elizabeth, the shame. And just like Elizabeth, you too maybe can be called barren, but barren in different areas of life: barren financially, barren in health, barren in joy, and peace, wherever you are lacking, wherever you are non-productive, failing for years.

When it looks like others are passing you by, Luke 1:37 says, For with Godnothing is impossible.

It was not impossible for God to help Elizabeth, who was in a hopeless situation that was dragging on for years. She had everything against her; her age was against her; people from the village were against her by calling her barren, parents who wanted to become grandparents, and seeing an heir of the family line. Still, it is not impossible for God to help you! He is not a respecter of persons, and He does not show favoritism.

Acts 10:34 NIV

"Then Peter began to speak: "I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritis" 

Your situation can change with a seed that has a wonder, a miracle in it to perform the promise inside of it. As I explained previously that the word of God is as a seed that you sow by voicing it and keeping it within your heart, believing it with all your heart, then you will 'conceive.' That word does what only He can do on the inside of you. A wonder, a miracle, you will bring forth a 'son,' you will bring forth that healing and health, you will have that peace, you will live in that financial freedom, the word will become flesh in your particular situation always when we follow the directives God gave us. That is the DNA of the seed, whenever you accept, agree with the Word using it as a seed, believing it with your whole heart, speaking it into your mind and heart, then it will automatically grow on the inside, living on the inside of you just as a baby does without us knowing how like in proverbs 4:4 NKJV

"Let your heart retain my words"

Mark 4:26 NKJV

"And He said, The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on

the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.

For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come."

It will produce a wonder. It will bring forth a miracle and a harvest in a sense, not one you can instantaneously see with your physical eyes. The manifestation in physical form, where you can hold it, see it, hear it or smell it naturally with your natural senses. The impossible becomes possible, and you are no longer called barren. Still, you will be called fertile, fruitful, productive, or a success.

Let us take a closer look at the case of Elizabeth what happened there.

Luke 1: 8-17 NKJV

"So it was, that while he was serving as priest before God in the order of his division, according to the custom of the priesthood, his lot fell to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. And the whole multitude of the people was praying outside at the hour of incense. Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense. And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.

But the angel said to him, Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God. He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, 'to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,' and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. He will also go before Him in the spirit

and power of Elijah, 'to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,'

and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, 'to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,' and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. 

And Zacharias said to the angel, How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years.And the angel answered and said to him, I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings. But behold, you will be mute and not able to speak until the day these things take place, because you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their own time.And the people waited for Zacharias, and marveled that he lingered so long in the temple. But when he came out, he could not speak to them; and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple, for he beckoned to them and remained speechless. 

 So it was, as soon as the days of his service were completed, that he departed to his own house. Now after those days his wife Elizabeth conceived; and she hid herself five months, saying, Thus the Lord has dealt with me, in the days when He looked on me, to take away my reproach among people."

I do understand this part of the bible verse is a bit long. But it needs to be here in this book for it gives us insight into what happened in the case of Elizabeth and for us to see the difference with Mary's case. For instance, similar to Mary, the same angel Gabriel came to Zacharias. He also was sent to Mary, this time with a message that Zacharias's prayer was heard, hallelujah! And that Elizabeth will bear Zacharias, a son whose name will be John, and he would be great in the sight of God, even be filled with the Holy Spirit in the womb. Isn't this the most incredible news Zacharias could get? His prayer of having a child is answered gloriously! Yet Zacharias did not believe it, for he answered the angel;" how shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is

well advanced in years", a question just as Mary did after she heard

the message from the angel Gabriel. Except Mary's situation was far more impossible for Zacharias was already a married man, prayed of having a child, he could have just rejoiced and said yes to it. Zacharias was in total unbelief, and how I know this is because of the reply of the angel Gabriel who changed his tone and said;" And the angel answered and said to him, "I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings. But behold, you will be mute and not able to speak until the day these things take place, because you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their own time."

Zacharias did not believe the words of God; because of this, the angel Gabriel points out the fact that he stands in the presence of God, telling Zacharias that it was God who sent him with this happy message. However, because Zacharias was in unbelief, he will not speak until John is born. Here we find the most significant difference with our virgin girl Mary. She did believe and only asked a question to understand and know more about the word from God. On the other hand, Zacharias did not believe; he had unbelief looking at his natural circumstances. He did not elevate the word above everything else as Mary did. So the mouth of Zacharias was not speaking life but death. This is the reason the angel Gabriel muted Zacharias until the word of God was fulfilled. Otherwise, Zacharias would stop the word of God, stop the miracle by using his mouth to speak his unbelief, doubt, and death. 

Which one are you? Mary in believing the word of God or Zacharias in unbelief? We need to speak our faith and not the unbelief. Don't speak what you see, hear, smell, taste or feel in the natural, do not repeat what your doctor's file or diagnosis says, what your banker said that was negative, speak God's word in faith into every area of your life, and get the desired results.

In Mark 11:23 NKJV

"For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says."

You can have what you say or say what you have, for this bible verse talks about your words. Your words are critical; what you say shall come to pass, so better speak your faith out because you will birth out what you say. What you say you will harvest. This bible verse tells and gives us a secret to manifested prayer and the actual thing angel Gabriel spoke of when he muted Zacharias's mouth. This Mark 11:23 is Jesus answering the disciples and us. He knew this directive of God and used it, and He also gave us the example lots of times in the word, but in the following bible verse, we see the perfect example Mark 11:12-14 NKJV:

"Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. In response Jesus said to it, Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.

And His disciples heard it."

Do you see this? Jesus spoke to the fig tree, spoke to His problem with words. His disciples heard Him, so He was not talking in His heart to it. Everything responds to words, and words are powerful, especially when spoken in faith. In the case of the fig tree, it dried up from the roots Mark 11:20-21 NKJV:

"Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away."

All because of Jesus's words, this is the actual reason the angel Gabriel muted the mouth of Zacharias and would have aborted the pregnancy with his tongue so speak the word of God because they have faith in them according to Romans 10:17 NKJV:

"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

There is faith in the words of God. Every single time you voice them, that faith within the word is released in your ears. It will have its effect on every area of your life, be it your body, hair, organs, bank account, wallet, ministry, business, marriage, providing whatever it is that you need. Do not 'dig up your seed' by speaking contrary to the word. Do not abort your spiritual pregnancy by speaking your doubt, unbelief, or fear; whenever a thought pops up in your mind that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, do not take it by speaking it! 

Matthew 6:31 KJV

"Therefore take no thought, saying"

just take it captive, cast it down according to 1 Corinthians 10:5,6 NKJV:

"casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,"

The knowledge of God is the word of God, so everything that goes against the word of God you can cast down and take the thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ, to what Jesus Christ has spoken in the word.

Happily, for Elizabeth, the angel Gabriel muted the mouth of her husband Zacharias, for what the angel spoke about happened. Her reproach was taken away, and she conceived, let's read the last part of their story in Luke 1:57-66 NKJV:
