CHAPTER ONE: INTRODUCTION TO CRESTED GECKO

You've purchased a crested gecko and are now prepared to begin caring for your new pet. Crested geckos are relatively low-maintenance pets, and their care is rather simple in comparison to other types of pets. They are an ideal first reptile for anyone interested in reptiles, namely lizards, and who want to keep a pleasant and safe (first) reptile.

Six pillars comprise crested gecko care. You must adequately care for them and give a healthy food. Crested geckos must also be housed in a sufficiently large terrarium (with appropriate temperature and humidity). Additionally, you'll need to clean their terrarium at least once a month and, if necessary, have them evaluated by a veterinarian.

Although this tutorial is geared at adult crested geckos, the majority of the information applies to baby and juvenile crested geckos as well. There are only minor distinctions due to their reduced size.

Although I will not state it specifically in this tutorial, the most critical (implied) part of crested gecko care is that the gecko be kept alone. While it is possible to maintain female crested geckos together (although some will not advocate it), it is not recommended to keep numerous crested geckos in the same terrarium.

To provide the finest care possible for your crested gecko, it's critical to educate yourself on all areas of crested gecko care through answers to frequently asked questions. Therefore, let us immediately begin studying everything there is to know about crested gecko care!
