Living in harmony with the lunar cycles, and in tune with Mother Earth, helps us to go through these transformative times with the need for Inner peace and in touch with the wisdom of experience.
To align ourselves with the lunar cycles teaches us how to participate in the harmony of the natural rhythms that rule our emotional and experimental world.
Instead of feeling overwhelmed by our emotional world and external pressure, we will learn to hold our experiences, pains, and lessons. It’s the integration of all our fragments that makes the real inner change possible. Sustaining our wellbeing and allowing the manifestation of our potential and the achievement of our life project.
To live in tune with the phases of the Moon provides us with knowledge about our “Inner tides.” It helps us to focus on our present, waking up the capacity to trust in ourselves and allowing us to integrate the cosmic energies. That drives us to deploy our evolutionary process, our spiritual awakening, and our highest wellbeing on earth.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I am infinitely thankful for the blessings that the Goddess has sowed in my Life. I feel that Love for Her, it had awakened in me when I was a young child. It always corresponded. She has taken me holding my hand, through this beautiful journey, filled with adventures towards the awakening of the Holy Feminine.
And so, this book was gestated through m pains, fears, and mistakes, nurtured with the deepest Love of my heart. It is sweetened with my experience as a girl, as a woman, as a mother, as a grandmother, and as a witch.
But the realization of this book, “spiritual daughter” of my questioning Soul, would not have been possible without the presence of all the women of my life. My mother, my grandmother, my sister, my mother-in-law, my friends, my niece, my grandniece, my granddaughter, my colleagues “witches,” my Sisters the Priestesses, my Brothers Priests, the pioneer authors, who dared to challenge the current conceptual framework... to all my Masters and Teachers ... who helped me to go through and integrate the process with my own shadow.
They were the mirrors where I saw my “masks” reflected.
Thanks also to the men who have shown me that building a new relationship model is possible. Infinite thanks to Jorge Lozano, for the unconditional support throughout a lifetime. Endless thanks to Martin Lozano Gobbin, Lunar Son, for your constant encouragement and coaching! Thanks to my Brothers who have embraced the Goddess and show that you can be a Lunar Hero!
Thanks to Mia Lozano for being my granddaughter buddy and the joy of every day!
Infinite thanks to all of you!

The calling
The Moon evokes a different feeling about Time. If the title of this work has touched your heart, you probably already feel that there is much more in life than what has been taught by conventional sources. This book tries to show you another glance on this "variable," which we call “Time." And how time can open an infinite number of doors to our interior. Towards the incredible complexity of our Being, where inhabit the countless faces that we can assume.
We are going to a "Journey" by taking apart some beliefs about that dimension called Time. The world we live in has convinced us that it is uniform and linear. Our almanacs represent the days of our lives as square cells of equal dimension, in straight rows, drawing a totally "square" portrait. The solar calendar that we use leaves hidden, wrapped in mystery to the Moon, owner of its peculiar temporality.
Discovering the cyclical side of Lunar Time leads us to reveal another psychology of the female experience, which pays homage to the exploration of inner space. Like archaeologists, we must delve into the abstract notion of time to locate lost relics of our identity. The deep, celestial correspondence will emerge to free us from the perception that time is advancing in a straight line and that we are destined to feel the same way every day. Science is a domain in which men have tried for centuries to reshape Mother Nature in their image and likeness. First and foremost, hey took possession of all your vital resources to serve your purposes. They defined what we understand by normal. Modern medical practices make use of an incredible variety of technological incentives to compensate for female natural processes, which challenge this opinion of linear regularity.
To fulfill this promise, we must pull the veil that culture has installed and ask you to look again at the Moon. She is the Guardian of the Soul and Time. Treasure the collective memory, guarding the record of all human experiences that have occurred since the beginning of time. She is the catalyst of all emotions. Its phases linked to the female cycles. However, the analysis of human behavior has mainly gone to science, with credentials based on methods that cut the spiritual dimension of the human being. And they do not know the feminine mysteries, concerning the female perception of Time. Our culture hides our lunar experiences. They contradict the current paradigm. The established belief structures that form our consensual reality continue to persist. Even long after its “raison d'être” has become obsolete.
Humanity is approaching the hallucinatory moment of age change. We must witness a rare phase of massive global transition. We cannot afford to continue living and sustaining the fallacies of the past. "Another world is possible." And I could start with you.
This book offers you a luminous look towards Your Place in Time. Seen in a different way, cyclical, with the ability to awaken the dormant archetypes, retained in the Ether of the Collective Unconscious, fragments of human nature that function as "Celestial D.N.A." The Journey of the Moon will allow you to know the Twelve Sacred Realms recorded in the planes of creation. It invites you to see the landscape and the archetypes that inhabit each Kingdom, taking you to a new level of consciousness.
Do you dare to know the deep beauty inherent in the Divine equation "As it is above, is it below"? to discover the silver thread that unites these two planes. …To experience the alchemical Lunar healing.
Venturing to accompany the Moon on your Journey will take you to face your truth, face to face. Women's biology relates to the "Lunar clock." This rhythmic correspondence represents the unknown Female Kingdom of Lunar time. A divine inheritance bequeathed to women. Our feelings relate to the passage of the Moon through each of the twelve signs of the zodiac. It happens due to ahidden resonance. The Lunar trip repeats every month; therefore, our emotions and personal issues can be sensed and anticipated. Knowing and integrating these provides us with the Alchemy we need for our Healing. Educating women would empower them. Understanding the role of the Moon in the state of mind, behavior, and feminine psychology gives us a key to open the door to our inner world and begin a process of revolutionary self-discovery.
This book invites you to participate actively. Through the proposed activities and the monitoring of a personal journal, a gradual knowledge of the astrological archetypes will emerge. Soon you will be able to discern the qualities of the different patterns and recognize how they influence your mood, and how they shape your various motivations. You can establish a convergence between the myths and the signs of the zodiac. This cast light on your understanding of the awaken energies.
In the first part, we will explore the role of the "three moons" in our lives, re-discovering the Cyclical Time, understanding the beautiful Alchemy of the Lunar cycle in the Heavens. Thus, we will prepare the "luggage" to undertake the Journey in the second part, where we will discover the lunar archetypes that embody the energies of the Twelve Zodiacal Kingdoms.
Do you dare to dance the Mandala of your Moons?
-First part: The Dance of your Moons
Three Moons are with you
Since yesterday and forever
Three Moons bless you
Three Moons are with you
I invite you to dance
The Dance of Your Moons
Three Moons are with you
Many times, in silence
Other times with clamor
From the first cry
With the blood of your Mother
With the blood of your Belly
With the blood of Love
One Mark your months.
The Other points out your cycles
The Third watches you grow
I invite you to dance
The Dance of the Moons
Dance, dance Sister
And be “One" with the Three
Discovering the Cyclic Time and the power of Ritual:
Let's take a moment to think about all the rhythms in our life:
- Circadian as day/night
-ultradian as appetite
-menstrual cycle
In our daily life, we usually comply with specific cycles, which are part of our habits. Each day following the solar day-night period, we get up and go to sleep. The arrival of artificial sources of light prolonged the workday altering the circadian cycle and, in some people, changing the rhythms of rest. Seasonal cycles signal the time of our summer vacations. And veiled under this cycle, is the lunar cycle, where we experience the ups and downs of our emotional tide. The full moon usually grabs our eyes during temperate nights. But She is always, treasuring the collective memory.
The cyclic time appears as the first notion of time developed in human history. With Christianity emerge the ideas of the linear time strongly, what is fundamental to the bases of the West and its notion of progress. The emergence of postmodernity, a fine of the twentieth century, meant the objection of linear time to the West.
The human being, linked to natural cycles, considered time-based on these. The Moon, the seasons of the year, the times of significant droughts and rains, the life of the plants and the migrations of the animals. Survival depends on the recovery of human activity with the cycles of Nature. It was mainly the Eastern cultures that developed the philosophy of cyclical time. In the aboriginal cultures of the American continent, there are also references to a circular conception of time.
In the soul of the people, the perception of cyclical time still strongly subsists. We must see it not as an endless repetition of similar events, where the only way is to reiterate a tradition, but as a spiral where we go from one level to another.
We could then talk about two kinds of time1. A linear time, which goes to the future, from the past, through the present. And a sacred time, which is circular. This magical time presented in those actions that people consider experientially transcendental. Real growth consists in recovering the memory of a magical, sacred, and mythical time where everything is real and always is here and now. If time "circulates," then we can review those events that have occurred in the past and extract from them the lessons and experiences that correspond to our present, to project future decisions.
And this way of seeing the time is what begins to play when we enter the lunar cycle. From New Moon to New Moon, circulating. Reviewing the past and choosing the best seeds to sow future changes. And we are surprised when we realize that this cycle reflected in the female body. Expressing our cyclicity
And why do we talk about rituals? The ritual allows us to access this "cyclical time" and that conjunction of energies, creating a sacred space in our daily lives. A place where we can resize and re-signify our spirituality. Recreating the healing magic that today's world takes away from us. The ritual reminds us of a broader reality and invokes in people the
understanding of universal paradigms, giving rise to the expression of our spiritual being. In each ceremony, we open the door to healing energies. They are opportunities to heal old wounds and give impetus to transformations. The ritual allows us to access our internal power.
And when we talk about "power," sometimes they start playing not-so-clear images. In our culture, that word can lead to a negative connotation, of "power over" another.
Here we are talking about power "within us." In the ability to generate changes and to choose the direction of our lives. It is linked to our capabilities and potentials. And this new definition of "power" has its roots, in the new feminine spirituality.
Forty years ago, the "second wave" of the women's rights movement was at its peak in the United States. In addition to fighting for legal claims, such as equal remuneration in the market and the right to have a credit card or keep their name, they began working on issues related to health and reproductive rights. At that time, women appeared who began to work on a new spiritual conception that rescued the Sacred Feminine and the need to create spaces for awareness and healing. Thus, it was born the movement of feminine spirituality and the need to review ancient cultures where the Goddess, in its different expressions, was the Sacred fountain where both women and men were watering. Cultures aligned with the lunar cyclical time, where the ritual occupied a place in everyday life, connecting the sacred with daily life. Thus, it began to emerge spontaneously, female circles that gathered to celebrate the lunar cycles, creating their rituals. Some left their religions to create a new worldview. Others worked within the conventional religious frameworks to take the "feminine" to sectors that had previously been only for men and where the doctrine gives place exclusively to the masculine vision of the divine.
Women seeking a feminine spiritual dimension have worked hard during the second half of the 20th century, to locate or create feminine images of power. But they have also forged a spiritual movement emphasizing the sacred character of this world, the female body and cycles, the Earth and the lunar time, contrasting with traditional ideas in the West. Thus, the Goddess, in its many aspects and names, began to be remembered in these feminine circles, where through a process of awareness, a new way of understanding female physical and emotional processes and their impact on the collective. And with that, the revision of many imposed cultural patterns that limit power "in" us. This “wake call” causes the need to review the "places" or cultural roles reserved for the Feminine. And the Goddess, again, "remembered." The female body, its cycles, the woman's own identity meet again with her sacred dimension.
And so, came the third wave, towards the '90s. Their many authors began to publish works that helped women establish contact with a profound place, an "archetypal level," where the Divine Feminine had been locked. To disarm the taboos built around the feminine cycle and the different stages in the life of a Woman.
Tuning in with the lunar cycles, and recognizing the different archetypes that enclose the signs, opens a portal to that internal place where personal power and the “magic” that allows us to create our reality.
In our culture, we can distinguish "two visions" or modes of thinking. One of them is rational, logical, or linear, related to the left side of the brain, which has been called "solar." And the other, intuitive, emotional, creative, associated with the right side of the brain, called "lunar." Throughout history in the Western world, the "solar" mode was as the privileged, and the "lunar" underestimated. Thus, this underestimation and attempts at suppression have made us more susceptible to locking ourselves with our emotional problems and the consequent difficulty in solving them. This situation is one of the reasons that cause an increase in cases of severe depression, anxiety disorders, and other psychological problems. Rituals, especially lunar rituals, meditating, give us a way to integrate "lunar mode." To both women and men.
Another of the ideal circumstances that arise from that magic is the Moon Circles. Especially Female circles for New Moons and Female or mixed circles for Full Moons And why is it essential to connect between women? While female physiology is lunar, many of the gender differences are due to the imposition of cultural roles. For a long time and even today, the connection with other women, beginning with the relationship with our mother, is felt as complicated, often with distrust, jealousy, and resentment. Result: to function in our culture, we have sacrificed "lunar" relationships. It is time to bring them back to our lives.

I. The Moon in your body:
The Purple Dance2
My body is an antenna
United to Earth
Pointing to heaven
My blood falls
Blessing the Earth
Raise my heart
To the moon
And in my center
In my womb
A door opens
To other worlds
I run with the force
Of the lioness that lives in my belly
I run and feel the air on my face
The fire of my Uterus
That expands
I own my life
While in heaven
The moon grows
How my Strength grows
I feel my body
It's a wave in the ocean
I climb from the bottom
Where life began
And I see all the beings around me
The Light radiates from Me
I'm in my center, and I have
The power to give birth and nourish
I am the sickle that cuts
Dry branches
I am the cutting edge
What must die
I am the wall that protects me
And defends me
I have the power to
Choose my way
And so, I come back again
To feel Her in me.
2 This poem was written by me in the workshop of Myriam Wigutov “The Purple Wheel”, (2008).
"The menstrual cycle is the driving force behind the woman's perception and awareness, sexuality, creativity, and spirituality."
Miranda Gray3
And one day the female began to menstruate and became HUMAN4 ... All mammalian females bleed during the estrus period. This bleeding indicates the moment when they are receptive to the male and is related to ovulation. But estrus or period of heat is not synonymous with menstruation. The woman has a complex cycle, with physiological changes throughout the reproductive system. With changes in the emotional body. So basal and powerful is this cycle, that they have tried to take it away for generations.
Lucy H. Pearce uses the word "quixotic" with great respect to refer to the female body. Our energy levels, moods, and physical health are in constant cyclic variation. And this reality is not sustained or emotionally contained in our culture. Understanding our femininity is like reassembling a puzzle, where some pieces hide. Disorienting and frustrating, since strictly physiological knowledge is not enough to understand the Feminine. Hence the importance of a mother, sister, friend, or circle to initiate us in this knowledge.
One of the strongest memories of my primary school, takes me to a room, full of girls between 10 and 12 years, whispering and enjoying the "secret" of being there. The men had been told a lie, to justify an exclusive activity for us. They were going to talk about "that." In front of us, a kind lady, with a grandmother's tone, passed us slides with all the names of our anatomy and physiology. In fifteen minutes, the awakening of our Wombwas explained aseptically.
In the same way as digestion and excretion of urine. In the end, to complete our incredible experience, we were told about the wonders of the new disposable sanitary napkins. We were in 1970, and we should never let anyone know that we were in "those days." and we should never allow stains to give us away. Not surprisingly, the brand name of the menstrual pad was "Modess," which refers to "modesty."
Decades ago, it was quite common for mothers to tell nothing to their daughters about the arrival of menarche (appearance of the first menstruation). Others transmitted to their daughters the same misconceptions, dark and mistaken. For many of them, it was a traumatic, shameful, and intimidating event. This “issue” taught at school, in Biology’s class, covered by the motto "Health and Hygiene," was a sort of rescue for many mothers, who suffered in silence the menstrual "matter."
My menarche was early, which made me lucky to be dual for my partners. On the one hand, I was already a "Miss" with access to some secret feminine knowledge that, came to me through the female magazines. On the other, a chapter of childish enjoyment was closed, as it was a "young lady" and could no longer play with boys. Why?? Because it wasn't right. Just like that. And above all things, I had to hide and conceal when I was bleeding.
The word menstruation comes from the Latin "menstruus," whose meaning is "repeated every month" derived in turn from “mensis," which means "month." In turn, this word shares the same Indo-European root with the Greek word "mene," which means the moon.
When humans did not have artificial light all the women aligned with the lunar cycle. Although some studies deny it, since supposedly "there is no scientific proof," women menstruating on New Moon and ovulating on Full Moon. The first calendars based on the lunar cycle. They appeared from the need to count the moons during the time of gestation and prepare for birth. In Paleolithic times it was vital not to give birth at certain times of the year, which is why women began to control their fertility from ancient times. Some cultures have called menstruating women as "women with their moon."
The taboo of menstrual blood is something widespread since ancient times in almost all civilizations. There are many rites and ceremonies around menstrual days, severe restrictions, and a lot of legends about the pernicious effects produced by a woman who is menstruating, affecting men and the environment. Simone de Beauvoir, in her excellent book "The second sex,”5 Gives a varied and comprehensive list on the subject. Cites as beliefs concerning the rule or menstruation, from "makes the fruits fall" to make the man "impotent." they seem picturesque, many of which are still prevailing. It follows that these cultural constructions show a deep terror before the blood that emanates from the woman's genitals, showing fears about the mysteries that the feminine condition entails. That locks in. Hence, in many religions, menstrual taboos are so severe.
Over the centuries this rejection, first disguised as a religious norm and then a sanitary rule, was degrading the feminine, installing the feeling of impurity on the cyclicity of the woman's body. "Blemish" that added to the list of demonized archetypes, thrown into the collective shadow. Not only seductive vampiresses, devouring men but also producers of "menstrual poison."
And we arrived at the end of the 20th century, when the pioneers of the so-called Feminine Spirituality, begin the arduous work of disarming this belief matrix. And we begin to understand little by little, that women are cyclic like the Moon. Just as She, who grows or decreases a little every night in the sky, we change day by day, following a cycle that does not move like the calendar month.
The menstrual cycle not only influences body fluids and endometrial tissue, but it also has to do with our creativity cycles. We receive and process information differently at different times in our cycles. Following a lunar metaphor, we could say that, from the beginning of menstruation (new moon) to ovulation (full moon), we go through a period of growth. Energy and creativity increase We reach a peak and feel more receptive. We are also more willing to meet and generate more pheromones that increase our appeal. If a pregnancy does not occur, we begin to slowly withdraw the energy put on the outside, as if we were "waning." A period of darkness arrives every month when the force of life seems to disappear for a while (premenstrual and new bleeding). The power concentrated inside us. At those moments, we feel more thoughtful and inward. We sensitize and react to everyday stimuli. It is a moment in which we are open to "lunar" information, which comes to us through our intuition. Images and dreams. The "other side of the brain" launched, and we process things, reaching incredible insights. Intuition does not fit in our linear culture. That is why this time is considered "bad" or unproductive.
Although science cannot fully understand how the Moon relates in our biological systems, we know that lunar cycles affect processes on Earth, such as the tidal regime and plant growth.
With the advent of artificial light and large cities, we separated from natural cycles. And we were denying or ignoring the relationship between our bodies and the moon phases. And relegating our period, like those days that disturb our routines. Menstruation is a sacred time, which we should use to recover our feminine power, fertility, creativity, and the care of our spirit. The menstrual cycle has to do with the energy and power of women. The potential to be, to restore and heal, to receive and create. Therefore, menstruation is a gift. The Original Cultures recognized this and created the time and space for ritual and spiritual practice.
Since the 1990s, pioneer women wrote about this lunar theme and opened the way back to the sacredness of the feminine cycle. Already in the 21st century, many others took the torch and added their contribution to female awareness. I honor all of them.
From a more astrological perspective, we can also understand this of lunar physiology. In Traditional Astrology, the Moon is related to the female cycle or menstrual cycle. Always in a veiled manner as relating the organs or the hormonal rhythm. The word menstruation rarely appears. One of the consequences of the suppression of this link and the denial of specific lunar needs that women feel during the bleeding has led to the adoption of drugs to function as men and continue to yield fully and be productive "those days." That is, to operate in solar mode the most lunar days of the month. During that part of the cycle, the area of the solar plexus is more open, which facilitates the environment to influence negatively. Any situation can break the balance and manifest emotionally. Therefore, separating from the hustle and withdrawing for a while, is the most reasonable and protective measure. It is a good time to meditate and integrate the right cerebral hemisphere, the lunar one.
Just as the New Moons and Full Moons are trips from the Dark to the Light, our cycle is a dance with the Moon in our bodies, the menstrual Moon. It is a spiritual practice to empower us.
Many women still ask me why our cycles are so important. Many of them have resigned themselves to taking a pain reliever and moving on. Knowing the secrets of "cyclicity" gives us back our power. It gives us options, and from there, we can free ourselves from the cultural mandate that encloses our bodies. It is to realize that the label "female bodies are not reliable" is a perversion. You must know the way to your interiority to use your real power.
Reflect on this: on average, we menstruate from 11-12 years to 51. Bleeding is interrupted by pregnancy and lactation or hormonal contraceptive treatments. Every day of those years, absolutely all, belong to a menstrual cycle. And I tell you if you do not know, when we are taking oral contraceptives, blood loss is not a "menstruation." It is the result of stopping the daily dose of hormones they provide.
Premenstrual discomfort or the commented "PMS" is a condition found almost exclusively in the West. It is attributed to poor dietary, pollution, and the stress of living in a masculinized environment. Those days our world activates the archetype of the "crazy woman." And it is in those days when She speaks to us in the ear and tells us things that we hide or reject the rest of the cycle. Those days, we may be listening to our actual reality.
Oops!!!!!! My hormones ...
Estrogen6 & Progesterone, both are the female lunar hormones, responsible for the changes of the female body during puberty, menstrual cycle, pregnancy. Fluctuations in the level of estrogens, which occur during ovulation and premenstrual phase, are typical manifestations. These peaks affect the right cerebral hemisphere, the "lunar brain." It is one of the reasons for the sudden emotional changes that may appear. During ovulation, the hormonal peak is associated with an increase in sexual desire. It is an interesting fact and gives us a different look towards fertility rites during the Full Moons in ancient times.
During the premenstrual phase, the body usually retains fluids. There is a correspondence between the swelling and the Water element that represents our watery emotional world. This increase-decrease in estrogen levels just before the onset of bleeding is also related to the headaches that may appear. Does the brain swell by the things we ruminate in our heads??? The best remedy is to let those things out. Be our emotions, feelings, or unfulfilled dreams.
Irritable or aggressive during the premenstrual? Try to keep a lunar journal where you can put this in words, as you connect with these emotions. Take note of the themes and or links that are the target of these feelings. They are real and should not be ignored. The days of the female cycle are a kind of emotional purification. That emotional "storm" shows us things that we have suppressed from "solar" u objective consciousness. Being alone and meditating for a while is a great help. Respect the ideas or insights that arise. Then your notes will be processed and worked at another time in the cycle. Check the truth in them. It can be uncomfortable, even painful. Many times, these same issues are the root of individual depressive states, which can manifest themselves in attacks of hunger, crying-anxiety.
Faced with the truth manifested in these feelings, the need for changes in one or more areas of our life may appear. One of the ways is to use the energy of the New Moons to implement those adjustments. If you regularly consult astrological topics, it is interesting that you understand the mechanism of the astrological Moon in your natal chart. It will be a significant help.
The menstrual cycle is not an accident or "incident" in the lives of women. It is the key to heal our wounds, learn to nourish ourselves, to take care of ourselves. It is a powerful symbol of our “Lunar essence."
“Lunatic” recommendations:
1. Start tracking your menstrual cycles. You can start a lunar journal. Assemble it as you like, but do not forget to include the data in graph No. 1. They will help you align with the Moon. Express your feelings and views, internal messages, and your dreams. Reflect and ask yourself if there is something you need to put aside in your life to make room for the new.

There are also free apps that synchronize with the moon phase. Whatever you feel most comfortable.
2. If you wish to obtain more information about the magical connection between the cycles of the moon and the menstrual cycles, I recommend reading Anita Diamant's "The Red Tent.” It is a beautiful story about brotherhood, the cycles of the moon, and our menstrual cycle. In the bibliography, you will find pioneer books on the subject.
3. Enjoy, and don't worry if your cycles are "correct." Experience the lunar cycle, but if you menstruate in another phase than the New Moon, do not force it. There is no such thing as "perfect cycles."
4. Honor your menstrual cycles by starting to use natural feminine products. It will help you stay connected with your body and Mother Earth.
5. Rest, keep your body at the right temperature. Try using systems such as cloth towels or menstrual cup.
6. Meditate. Use your tarot or an oracle. Connect with your Inner Wisdom.
7. According to said by Lara Owen7 In her book, ancients believed that the blood of the uterus that nourished the unborn baby possessed "manna," magical power. And women were considered a connection with the sacred mystery of life and death. Bless your plants with your red moon.
The lunar cycle and our menstrual cycle:
Today, many of us expose ourselves to artificial light for many hours of the day, which allows the change, ovulate at any time of the lunar cycle, leading to alternate periods aligned with menstruation in different phases, which adds a dynamic variable plus. We alternate white moon cycles (menstruations in the new moon) and red moon cycles (menstruations in full moon).
More lunatic recommendations:
If we menstruate in New Moon, it is “time to seed intentions and visions”:
-Participant in a "red shop" or "moon shop." A specific space to share this moment with other women in a circle, in isolation.
-Offer your Moon to Mother Earth.
-Insert into our natural world through a tool such as a Tarot, Runes, Oracles.
-Take our lunar journal, register our dreams and reveries. Work on what we feel, the mandates, the insecurities about our cycles. Write our intentions for the beginning cycle. It is the best time to make plans.
If we menstruate in full moon, it is “magic time”:
-Baths of the Moon: expose to the light of the full moon
-Enjoy walking or swimming under the moonlight
-Place lunar gems such as adularia or selenite under the moonlight. You can put herbs or flowers in water to use the next day. (Fennel fruits, pumpkin seeds, sagebrush, white sandalwood, jasmine, Lunaria (moonwort).
In all cases, close the curtains, turn off the phones, drink enough liquid and rest. Try ecological protection systems, such as menstrual cups. Devote yourself to create art, Zen tangles (meditation through drawing), mandalas. We can use our tarot decks, oracles, runes.
The Honoring of the Feminine demands something from us, creating a private space for us and being responsible for supporting it. If there is something in our life that slows it down, resists or prevents us it would be good to review what is happening.

6 Estrogen or oestrogen, is the primary female sex hormone. It is responsible for the development and regulation of the female reproductive system and secondary sex characteristics. There are three major endogenous estrogens in females that have estrogenic hormonal activity: estrone, estradiol, and estriol. The estrane steroid estradiol is the most potent and prevalent of these.

From your first Moon:
Just as we recover the sacredness of our cycles, it is crucial to help our younger daughters and sisters to bless their menarche or first Moon.
A little search will put us in touch with the sacred character of menstruation in native cultures. The Moon Store of Native American peoples had a similar purpose. Menstruation is considered a time of great importance for the entire community. Everyone benefits from the vision and guidance. The Rituals of the original women about menarche and menstruation base on fasting and the development of their spiritual practices. Unfortunately, this ancient knowledge and understanding of spiritual power and the connection of the menstrual cycle have not been passed from generation to generation in modern women.
You can prepare this step from girl to woman in a loving way. For your daughters, sisters or yourself, as a gift. Prepare a basket with your first wipes made of natural material in time. Some herbs and essences to help her on that great day. A lunar journal, an earring or bracelet with an adularia or moonstone. You can perform a ceremony with the women of the family and friends of the Soul. Follow your tradition or your intuition. You will not go wrong. It is a moment of celebration. Prepare that moment as an act of Love, not only towards your girl but to all Women.

I dance with my body
Dance in the Air
Stroking my being
My skin is the port
Where caresses anchored
I feel the Yoni Energy
Up until my back
They circulate again through my veins
The memories of my Uterus
The portals of my Blood ...
I dance with my sister
I dance with my Mother
I dance with my daughter
