Chapter 1

Standing on the shore of Starlings Island waiting for the ferryboat, Brent could see it in the distance as it pulled in. He could not believe this was happening; he had a space where he wanted the cargo to build. When he saw the splash of water, he thought for a moment about his past working at Lowes.

You can see the waves coming onto the island, and the boat slowed down. Towards the island's front. While Brent was helping a ferry ship to move in a certain way, as other people help cars to park, the ferry ship’s captain did not need Brent's help, since this was not a fresh experience for them.

It is common for cargo ferry boats to have parking spaces for cars and trucks. The Brooks family owned this private cargo ship. In the background, he would watch as his coworker unloaded the 18-wheeler containers to supply the spaceship parts. There were container forklifts everywhere.

Brent underestimated the sheer size of the unit he saw being delivered. This is a trial run with merchandise, but the next run will have more cargo containers.

I watched the Tilt Bed pick up the containers from the ferryboat and lift them on shore. It was neat to see. The ramp from the ferryboat was down. Seeing the entire process in action was fascinating. Suddenly, the guy yells out, "Where do you want the container?". Then I went up to show him the map and pointed to a section of the island.

The Tilt Bed truck went into action and moved slowly and fast at the same time. Besides the container with the other goods and orders they ordered for their family, there was more on the ferryboat. There were three letters on the container: IOH. Brent did not know what that meant. Only he knew what was inside.

An enormous box came off the private ferryboat with something in it. This was a surprise for the family and guests. Peugeot Speedlight was written on the side of the box. This was also taken off the ferryboat. Towards the land.

More shipments are coming in. Suddenly the captain of the boat came out to shake my hand and introduce himself, telling Brent he was in great hands. According to him, this boat goes about forty knots and is very modern. It amazed Brent and his family at the complete process.

The captain had to get back on the water, but he was glad to meet us and see our island. And he was looking forward to delivering more items to us in the future. Brent shook his hand, and the men retrieved the ropes that attached the anchors to the island's front. When the ramp went up, the boat rumbled into the water. The boat slowly sailed away from Starlings Island toward the water.

They watched the ferryboat speed up toward the Chesapeake Bay waters as it took off slowly. Brent stood there until the ferryboat disappeared. Then he picked up his cell phone and called Marc Dazet (reporter) in Virginia Beach... the phone rang several times and Sundara answered. Hello, this is Brent from Starlings Island.

            “Marc, are you there?”

“Hello Sundara,” she responded. She removed the phone from her hand.

She yelled out, “Marc, the telephone is Brent Brooks? She read that a shipment had come in from Brent over the phone.”

“On my way,” Marc yelled back. After a few seconds, Marc picked up, and they immediately spoke in code.

Brent said, "The Eagle has landed."

Marc instantly understood what they meant: part one. Brent said yes. In their condominium living room, he high-fived Sundara several times. He knew Sundara was aware of what was going on. After what happened in the grocery parking lot a few weeks ago, he did not wish to say too much.

Sundara gave him the thumbs up, “Brent told him when you were coming down.”

As Marc said, “I'll be there in 72 hours; you know how to get here, right?”

“Yes, we do.”

Marc said, “There is another guest home waiting for you here on the island, and it is ready for you to move in. I am bringing the nest. Brent knew it meant blueprints. I will talk to you in 72 hours. Bring some cool snacks from Virginia Beach.”

As the conversation ended, Marc almost leaped into Sundara's arms. As she almost caught him in mid-flight when he fell to the ground and stood up quickly. She was excited. Oh, my gosh. Marc went to his desk and found the original spaceship blueprints; since then, he has made two copies, one for Dr. Eugene and one for himself now on Starlings Island. Sundara kept another copy mentally: she kept the blueprints in her mind.

Marc looked at blueprints in the room, wondering which parts had been delivered to Brent and how they would look, and how to build a spaceship. It is like a newspaper company, where many parts make the newspaper.

You indeed have your Sunday paper on your porch, but most people do not know how it's made. It begins with the reporter finding the story or sometimes with the managing editor assigning the story. The story was drafted by me, the copy editor reviewed it, and photos or graphics were added, as necessary.

Afterward, it goes to the managing editor, sometimes Editor-in-Chief, then the business editor who manages marketing and placement, then off to the printing press, then delivered to the circulation department. Sunday morning is when everyone picks up their paper and has their coffee and breakfast.

In Marc's mind, we are assembling a spaceship. There is a brief similarity between the newspaper process and the blueprint of a spaceship on an island. To accomplish this mission, we also need a lot of help. He smiles as he examines the map's blueprint numbers and letters. Combining them.

Marc studied a section of the blueprint. Besides the numbers 3, 4, and 5, he understood some words. Sundara knew this would be something she had never seen before. On her own, she knew how to get home to Ooynt. Bringing her daughter Laura and Marc, her husband, home, was a necessity. It will be exciting to see the first spaceship from earth enter the atmosphere of the Andromeda Galaxy.

Sam Mitchell. As he was relaxing in a pub in 1939, he noticed an envelope right next to him that had a Lion Claw on the front of it and he kind of knew what that mysterious envelope came from and in a way he didn't he turned his head to see if anyone saw him pick it up.

In a flash, he slipped the envelope under his arm and walked back to the military base. He began reading it as he walked. The paper was taken out of the envelope, and he read it.

Hello Mr. Mitchell. Although I do not know you, I am aware of your skills and discoveries. Sam knew the W.S. right away. He saw a picture of a Lion on the paper and stopped in the middle of the road to read it. The 1939 Lincoln Zephyr car almost hit Mitchell as he walked and read. The driver stopped to let him pass. He continues reading.

Greetings, I am Dr. Eugene. From a different time, I heard you were a great fighter pilot, and you had a unique glow substance. Nobody knows about that except you. I am here to tell you I know what you have. We need you at another time in history. Despite being confused about what he meant; he kept reading. It is apparent that you are part of the secret establishment called the Wildlife Syndication and that your presence is needed.

He wondered how this Dr. knew about his flying skills and what he had in his room safely hidden away. Joe continued to read. It is unbelievable what I am about to reveal to you, Joe. We are here on a mission with W.S, and we need your help. I have enclosed flight coordinates on a map in the air of a time portal, so when you pass through this portal, you will be where I am in 2019. There was a pause in Joe's steps.

Yes, I realize you are alarmed now! LOL, that means "Laugh Out Loud" in my time. You must fly your airplane to this area in the sky where the numbers and longitudes, and latitudes are listed. I have left some money for the flight. Several bills were found inside the letter after he investigated it and tapped it. The bills fell to the ground, each bill read, The British Linen Bank 20 pounds. There were thirty of them. He is paranoid about anyone looking over his shoulder.

He keeps reading, now when you land here in this area, look around to see if anyone else is around; I chose this place for a reason. In response to his question, Joe asked himself, "How am I going to get rid of my airplane?".

There will be a car that you have not seen before. It will be an orange car with WS on the back. I will drive the car. Please jump in, and we will meet in 2019. I need your help with the mission.

He reread the letter three times to ensure that it was addressed to him. It seems unheard of for him to do what I asked of him with his airplane and himself. His eyes were drawn to the W.S. after he saw it. He was surprised when he realized that the W.S. was still in another era. In 1939, I asked him to do this for a week. He stored the letter and envelope safely.

Chapter 2

After delivering the third and fourth containers on the ferryboat, Bulldog called Joe to let him know they had arrived on Starlings Island. It is me Bulldog on the CB radio, breaker, breaker Joe. Joe Louis noticed the CB signal. Hello, bulldog, everything is fine, Joe replied. I am back. I am here in Virginia Port, watching the containers go to Starlings Island. The CB clicked; just thought I would let you know.

“I am traveling South on I-95 to "Flow Town" Florence, South Carolina,” Joe responded to me, “Watch it out there are a lot of bears out there (law enforcement, helicopters, and hiding in the bushes) I noticed, beware, Eskimo Joe, okay Bulldog. I have an empty trailer on my rig if I stay within the speed limit. Let us talk later. I should be okay. It is okay, Bulldog, see you later and stay safe. Four more to go…

Within a few hours of the CB talks ending. A red and blue light appears out of nowhere, and Joe notices a State Highway Patrol following him.

No way, what did I do? he asked himself. His ears were tuned to the accents he knew would be present in South Carolina.

In response, he shifted down. He pulled over on the side of the highway. Slowly, the highway patrol car opened. I titled a trooper hat to the left, and there was also the walk.

“How are you doing, son?” he asked.

“I am doing well,” Joe said.

“Welcome to The Carolinas. I am not on the Welcoming Committee, but I want to welcome you here, son.”

That's right son, you want to know why I stopped you.”

Joe said, "Yes, officer. It seemed to me that I was driving within the speed limit.”

He paused for a moment, “This is just one of those routine traffic stops on Interstate 95 South... Hey, what's your name, son?”

My name is Joe. I wish you a safe trip.” "I've noticed your trucks a few times on I-95 here," the officer said as he turned to walk away. After that, he wished Joe a good day.

While the highway patrol was walking away, the trooper came back to his truck window and said, "Said Joe, if the Lord’s willin’ and the creek don’t rise."

Joe stared at him, puzzled. Then he replied, "Okay, Sir."

After that, he walked away. In the meantime, Joe awaited the highway patrol to jump in his car. It seemed to take forever. He turned back on his 18-wheeler and started driving down I-95 and then clicked the CB Bulldog, Hello Bulldog, come on. Static sounds are heard, followed by a voice.

Hello Joe, I just had a bear pull me over here. He said, ‘If the Lords are willing and the creek doesn’t rise.’ What does that mean?” The CB radio clicked.

Bulldog knew right away he was from Georgia. He understood the meaning of the terms, “It means people will do what they say they will do "until" something stops them.”

This was a warning to Joe.

This is a Carolina saying. In Georgia, we don’t say that. Joe liked to talk and find out things... He had a Parrot ornament dangling over his rearview mirror with the initials W.S. OKAY, thanks, bulldog. I will buzz you back if we need to change our plans or reroute our trip.

Joe repeated the saying a third time. 'If the lords will' and the creek doesn't rise, he said aloud to himself.

Sundara Dazet and Marc Dazet were packing for a weekend trip to Starlings Island with their daughter Laura. Marc kept the spaceship blueprints in a locked briefcase, and he remembered the Earth Surveillance Unit had told him to bring their device. As he was leaving, he called his managing editor, Amelia to let her know where he was located.

They like this part of Virginia. It differed from the Hampton Roads area, quieter and more laid back. Sundara was worrying about the unreachable contact from Andromeda Galaxy lately; she wondered if anything was wrong.

The fact that she planned to go home was kept a secret from everyone else. Her mission continues to be the extraction of water from the earth. She was unaware that another planet also had a similar mission.

Spacecraft dynamics was something Marc wanted to research further. As Marc pondered the word “Trade” he thought of something throughout history. Before they left on the trip, he thought to himself. In his condominium, materials came from everywhere and shaped history. From the US, overseas. Using his computer, he searched for the word. Trade.

Throughout history, people have traveled to other lands and taught others about their ways from one culture to the next. By thinking this way, Marc regarded planets and galaxies from a distance. Every day, he will use toothbrushes, stoves, and mirrors without knowing who invented them.

From one culture to another, theories passed from one land to another, as people traveled and taught each other their ways. By thinking about planets and galaxies from a distance, Marc considered the surrounding items.

His feeling was that this would be the same in the future. He has learned so much from Sundara who comes from another planet. She has also learned a lot from being here on earth. Imagine trade in the future when different planets are connected, Marc speculated.

Who taught the Greeks? Egypt, I mean? No Greece? In his mind, he went back and forth about who did what. In the past, traders helped shape many worlds.

Several cities are part of the world, according to the article he read. It is not just one culture. Upon entering his office, Sundara asked how he was doing. I enjoy reading about trade and traders in history. Our planet has a lot of history, his wife spoke back. You may not be familiar with many of the planets we learn about.

This phenomenon is quite common when you reach the outer reaches of the universe. Marc said. Yes, honey... However, there are new places in the stars that are starting, and they have original ideas and rules of trading. Some are nice, while others are aggressive.

Marc looks at his phone and sees a text from Brent. I put a gate at the entrance to the island; he said. For security reasons, like our home in Seabrook's NH.

Marc texts Brent back from Virginia to Virginia. Yes, we cannot wait to meet your family this weekend. I'll bring "The Paperwork" Brent knew what he was talking about.

In the middle of texting, Marc kisses his wife. "I love you," he whispered, and she stared at him for a few minutes. She then made the room cold for a few minutes, then warm again in half a second, and he knew she spoke back saying nothing... To say I love you.

I will give you the code when you get closer to the island,” Brent explained in text words that four containers have been delivered here on the island, all of which are safe and sound.

“I do not know what type of material is inside the cargo.”

The reporter texted back, saying, "OMG, I can imagine what's in those."

“I have another surprise in store for you when you get here. You'll see. I will see you this weekend.” The text from Brent Brooks has stopped.

Detective Thomas Reilly. Zoe, Reilly's friend, who did the secret research on the glow substance, was in Boston for a visit to the Lab. Besides wearing glasses, she worked for the police department in the city for a long time.

Reilly came down to talk privately with her... Reilly knocked on the lab door…

“Please come in and close and lock the door behind you. What I am about to say must remain private.”

He said, "Sure, what you find."

“Where did you find the glow substance?” Zoe asked.

“It came from a hotel. In the early days of my investigation into the Brent Brooks twin kidnapping case.”

"What you have is not from earth. I've seen something like this before at a company I worked for. When I saw it again, it was gone... Zoe, where you worked, was it in Florida?”

"Yes, I was working for a company called Rollins, and Rollins companies did a variety of things from Florida. There isn't much information about them.”

“This is where I saw this substance before, Detective Reilly... I was there only a few weeks when I was out there... Many people work for them but don't know what they did for a living. Do you know what I mean?”

“It is difficult for me to even remember their address if they had one at all.” She laughs quietly to herself. Detective Reilly wondered, “Do you know who hired you to work there for a few weeks?”

She spoke. “Yes, and I still have their phone number. Could you ask them for a favor by calling them?”

“Favor?” As she posed in a how stance.

Zoe asked, “Can you tell me what kind of favor I am going to ask for?”

"The substance they know about is in our possession. Could we call them and ask them to return this glow substance to its rightful owner?”

Zoe said, “They would want it back if they knew we had it. I'll see what I can do.”

“Are you planning to spend some time in Boston?”

“I will stay the weekend to find out if we can visit this location in Florida. I've been working on this case for a while now, and it looks like I might get somewhere. The Brooks family has their son back.”

The detective paced the room.

"There was more than meets the eye here, Zoe.”

“I'll see what I can do. If you let me know the hotel's number and room number, I'll call you as soon as I get somewhere.”

Detective Reilly. If I tell them this, they may come after us. We work for law enforcement.”

“I'm sure everything will turn out fine. Talk to you later, Zoe.”

Detective Thomas Reilly wrote Rollins and Rollins and the Sunshine State in a notepad as he walked out of the lab.

Chapter 3

In 1939 during WW1, a pilot wanted to change scenery and period; he looked at the coordinates about twenty-five times; he knew he had to do this early in the morning while most were asleep. Sam Mitchell's greatest admiration is R. J. Mitchell, his great-great-grandfather. Sam packed some items into bags, had and his jumpsuit from the RAF Royal Air Force, it was time for him to go.

He started walking to the airfield at 5 a.m. It was clear he wouldn't be able to bring his plane with him. I needed another airplane to redirect others, of course. Sam taped something to his watch and wore some special shoes. They both had Lion prints on their shoes and watches.

When Dr. Eugene was in a meeting, his phone beeped. When he looked at it, he saw W. S. Lion Forward. He excused himself from the meeting, knowing what that meant. Eugene was walking in a sprint; I must meet Sam at the right spot. Omg, he is doing it this morning. Dr. Eugene made a quick call before he left. Wes, can you manage the plane when it lands here? I got it as planned; Wes replied. The phone conversation ended.

Wes Howell owned an airplane storage unit. He knew what year this Spitfire airplane arrived from. He took notes. They wrote 1939 on paper along with the phrase a time machine airplane, coordination numbers. He thought while staring at the plane. I wonder if this airplane still flies.

He was now driving at a high speed. Let us just say he was rushing under the radar to make sure this worked well. Waiting patiently for the traffic light to turn green, he punched the accelerator pedal.

With Sam in 1939. In his mind, he thought, I have nothing to lose and the W.S needs me. Among the Supermarine Spitfires he knew, there was another airplane that was just as solid as his. As he walked over, he thought, "No.".

I’m going to take my plane. They’ll have to forgive him later for doing this act. He knew his plane well. At 7:00 am he moved his plane to the area where he can take off on the British airstrip. His plane had Lion prints painted on the side of the plane.

In the front, he turned on the plane and saw flames coming from the plane for a short while. He bucketed himself in the passenger side. When the engine was in full motion, he cracked in on the propellers spinning and the flames disappearing. The airplane is decorated with Royal Air Force symbols.

He moved the single-passenger Spitfire down the runway. Knowing that this is it. The sounds are now in motion, so I must hurry. From the corner of his eye, he saw others on the airfield wondering what he was doing as he slowly inched down the runway. Instead of turning back, he accelerated as fast as he could...

A device was clicked on by Dr. Eugene while he was driving at top speed to a location he knew very well. He clicked on 1939 to find out more about how to treat the LION in the W.S. when he sees a person from the past. As the device spoke, it said, "W. S. Lion.". They wear special watches and shoes that fit the personality of the "Lion," but it didn't say what they were. Dr. Eugene spoke with the device.

As a group, the Lions prefer to stay together, and the female is the hunter. The male protects whatever is trying to hunt her food. They surround their territory; they have excellent night vision, and they stay in packs. You can hear the roar from miles away when there is a group. Lions prefer flat lands. That was all the information provided.

The Spitfire accelerated down the runway, then Sam looked around and pushed up, so he was flying towards the coordinates. I folded his map out, and he examined the markings: he wore a helmet and glasses.

Spitfires are known for their unique wingspans. His eyes were fixed on the longitude and latitude. Taking one hand, he smacked himself and yelled. The adrenaline needed to be released. There was a roar in the air.

He was fifteen miles away from the required distance. Despite his best efforts, he doubted what was about to happen. It took him a while to figure out where the numbers were added in this area of the sky where he was supposed to be. When he checked if it was right, he was told to fly as fast as he could toward this section in the sky. He secured his seatbelt and checked his gear as he took the airplane sideways.

As the entire plane made the air rush past, he leaned forward yelling, and he closed his eyes for a few minutes, and for the first time in his life, he felt this warm feeling. Something happened then.

As he opened his eyes, he saw he was in a different place in the sky. He was shocked because he and his aircraft had gone through a portal; he kept flying, and he looked to the ground from the air, even though it appeared advanced.

In 2019, he noticed something new. The plane had the same sound in 1939 and he picked the area to land, and the plane descended. The Supermarine Spitfire was good at flying at low levels. His letter instructed him to fly directly to flat land. Upon landing, he remained standing for about ten minutes. He knew what he wanted to do with this.

It was like a plane hug to him, as he wished farewell to a plane that saved his life. The first thing he noticed was that the air smelled different from 1939; it was fresh. He looked around; everything was so new to him. All his belongings were recovered from his plane.

Besides the glow substance and gear, he also had other information. A sound comes toward him in the background. In the field toward him, he can see the dust from a car speeding down the field toward him at high speed. He hides what is coming at him at top speed.

He drove as fast as he could until he saw the Pilot in the distance. He stopped his car, clutched the stirring wheel, and shouted it worked! It worked! It worked. A modern car would be the first thing the pilot saw in his life, and he didn't want to scare him. He shifts the speed car at a slow pace, slowing down toward the plane and pilot, seeing someone from 1939 here for the first time.

Having opened his car door slowly, he jumped out and said, "Mr. Sam Mitchell, is this you?"

“Your doctor, Eugene. When he spoke, his voice cracked. It was unclear to him what machine was in front of him and where he was located.

“I welcome you to 2019, Sam, and my name is Dr. Eugene.”

Sam looked at his car. “Like whoa, what kind is that?”

The car driven by Dr. Eugene was a 2019 Tesla Model 3. For Sam to see this as a pilot in 1939; it was an escape, as he had been used to Studebakers and Hudson’s.

As soon as Dr. Eugene opens the door, he jumps in. As soon as he saw the seatbelt, he put it on.

As he stares at the dashboard of the Tesla, he thinks, No way.

"What is all this lighting and big screen?"

"Well Sam, my car from 2019, and that are what we drive these days, an electric car, and I'm sure everything is new for you. I and others will help you adjust to what wants to happen.”

Sam nods and takes everything in. Dr. Eugene punched the floorboard pedals, and the car shot forward like lightning. Being a pilot, Sam's seat belt felt normal, but seeing the car on the ground was cool.

The scenery, the trees, the road, and the signs along it captivated him. Although this was different, Sam knew something extraordinary had just happened. The moment he clicked on his watch button; it was as if he was telling everyone in W. S. that he had made it.

Chapter 4

The training for the Lunar Space Elevator was going well for 2nd LT Harold Johnson and company. Everyone seemed tired and eager to learn from Commander Kristin Hernandez Space Bravo Moon. The base's dome was remarkably high, and the ceiling was very high. She took us to an area with a very tall dome.

They were on a platform that looked like it was going up into the air, and many were wearing spacesuits. There was some type of glass contraption there. Platforms were six.

During his training at an army base, 2nd Lt Harold Johnson began thinking instead of jumping from 250 feet towers and parachuting down. There were platforms higher than 250 feet in the air during this training. It was high in the air.

As he watched people go up, they had to return down the same way. As the platform stopped in the air, they remained in the compartments that were made of glass. Having trained in prime areas, he was familiar with this type of training. There was something different about this, it was high in the air. On platforms, space soldiers are preparing for the moon up.

There was light, then the platform rose. The new trainers looked at the exercise with a detailed overview. On the side, videos showed an example of how to jump on the platform.

He never imagined that in a million years he would train in an elevator for a trip to the moon. Yes, definitely not. Despite that, he was training while his family lived on base. When they said Spaceborne Marine, he knew they meant it.

The commander then spoke. "Please just watch," she told them. “Observe the situation as a tourist would for a while to see how it has progressed. Take notes and ask questions. Feel free to ask any questions you have about the moon jumping to me or the soldiers here, and they will be happy to assist you. Once, they were in your shoes, standing where you are, and they too asked questions about these exercises."

Before she continued talking, she paused and looked around.

“Soon you will go on a real trip. On the Moon, we have several moon jumping stations. Some are on the water, some on land. Yes, take your time learning."

Harold took advantage of this opportunity and asked, "How do you regulate your breath when you are going up and down the platform? “Is there a certain way you must breathe?”

Mikal Africanus, 1st Lt, couldn't believe she was here too, training for the moon elevator. As she looked around the dome, and at other space marines in training, she remembered when she joined the army.

According to her writing, she hoped they would let her go to parachute school with the rest of the guys. She was the only woman army soldier, jumping and training with all the guys. Now she was on this base. Commander Kristin Hernandez was her personal trainer here, a woman whose voice gave her goosebumps.

Space Marine Harold Johnson's thoughts seemed to drift as well. This soldier knew he'd gone to jump school. As they were instructed, when jumping down 120 mph, they should keep their chins up and not open their mouths.

In space, 80 percent of the atmosphere was nitrogen and 20 percent oxygen. It was the same going up as it was going down.

There was less oxygen if one wanted to scream as loud as one could. In the same way, they could do the same when they came down. In their spacesuits, they were also taught to be aware of the change in the air.

The spacesuits of today are more advanced than those of the past. If you have ever seen it, it will automatically adjust to the area on the ground and go up to prime areas on the moon. Everyone had a question. During the moon jumping session.

At North Apex High School, Nolan and Zelda Johnson received the most modern education they had ever experienced. As they grew accustomed to the school on the base, their classes and activities became more familiar. The style of clothes of many was unreal. There was a distinct style for everyone. Students could make their clothes at home with modern technology.

It was fun sometimes to see what students from other countries wore in class. Besides taking notes for classes, Nolan also noted cultural trends.
