PREFACE

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak as the spirit gave them utterance”. Acts 2:1-4.

            The baptism of the Holy Ghost is REAL. It is an experience every child of GOD should desire. You need him for many reasons. For an effective walk with GOD, you NEED HIM. For GOD's work, you NEED HIM. You NEED HIM to comfort and guide you into all truth.

            This book gives you guidelines which will lead you into a full experience of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. You can be filled right there in your room, if you will lift up your heart in faith to GOD. You may have been filled before, but no longer have that flow within you; know that Jesus said out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:38. You do not only need a measure, but a flow of GOD's spirit in your life. This book is a point of contact to you also, whereby, you can be restored and have the flow in you once more.

CHAPTER ONE - THE HOLY GHOST

In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, if any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. But this spake He of the Spirit of which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given: because Jesus was not yet glorified”.

John 7:37-39

There is a conflict in the body of Christ today as to the reality of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Some refer to themselves as the Evangelicals, while others say they are the Pentecostals.

            One believes that when you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord, the Spirit of GOD is there in you, therefore, you do not need anything called the baptism of the Holy Ghost. On the other hand, the other believes strongly that the baptism of the Holy Ghost is REAL. All I know is that I am a Christian whether you call me a Pentecostal or an Evangelical. I believe the bible.

            So let us examine what Jesus had to say in John 14:16-17. “And I will pray the Father and He shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you forever; even the spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive…but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you”. Jesus was making the disciples realize that he will send them another comforter, and that the spirit of truth was already dwelling with them, but a time shall come when that spirit shall be in them.
