Acknowledgements

Without the support of those around me, this book wouldn’t have been possible.

I would like to thank my family, Nabil, Solene, Adele who, on a daily basis, has allowed me to give free rein to my imagination, always in a loving environment.

I feel gratitude and admiration for the mentors who have marked my path, from Sylvie Liger who first opened my mind with her book on the Law of Attraction, to Joe Dispenza, Bob Proctor, Robert Greene and other sources of inspiration such as the Gaia Meditation, David Laroche, S’enrichir, Sonny Court, Camille Griselin YouTube channels.

I would also like to thank my dearest friends with whom conversation hing exchange, those who have become my sisters and brothers. I wish them great success: Emma, Leila, Saadet, Yanita or Marianne.

Finally, I would like to pay special attention to you, the readers, whom I have been thinking the whole time while writing this book—I sincerely hope you will begin a beneficial introspection journey which will be the first of many intense moments filled with joy and plenitude, fully realizing yourself, finding what makes you unique, being ever radiant.

“Let the dream devour your life, not your life devour your dream1.”

1. The Little Prince, Antoine de St Exupéry

Foreword

“Any impulse of thought which is repeatedly passed on to the subconscious mind is finally accepted and acted upon.” »2

“All the breaks you need in life wait within your imagination, Imagination is the workshop of your mind, capable of turning mind energy into accomplishment and wealth.”3

“You cannot entirely control your subconscious mind, but you can voluntarily hand over to it any plan, desire, or purpose which you wish transformed into concrete form.”4

To repeat positive affirmations is to repeat truths—truths which are already within us, which we may have forgotten or set aside, while we were momentarily absorbed in other concerns.

From these new habits, new paths will open and new beneficial horizons will broaden even further.

This book is written in the first person so that it’s more immersive, so that you can identify with it. The “I” is both male and female.

The four forces that you will master during the reading are:

Intention

Affirmations

Coherence

Concretization

These four elements, which are already part of you, develop as follows:

INTENTION5

Intimately, I feel I must change

Nourished until now by my environment

Thus absorbed, taking a step back,

Expressing myself today, approaching situations with sustainable change

Opening my heart for real choices,

Turning events to my advantage,

Interacting to define my own laws

Organically embracing life,

Now base your success only on positive intentions

So externalizing can let the inner self creates its own reality.

AFFIRMATIONS6

And now, I decide to take charge of my life

Fostering my destiny for a future that suits me

Further shaping tomorrow as I wish

Intensifying events that support who I really am

Returning to my values, my skills and my bliss

Measuring the blessing of being alive and really expressing myself

Affirming my values loud and clear every day

To always focus back on the goal of every mission

In doubt, I follow my heart every time

Occupying space and time with disciplined routine and the strength of my ambitions

Now I believe only in what I am, on my incredible path

Striving to discover my unlimited power through affirmations.

COHERENCE

Centering my hands on my heart

Open to feeling more gratitude

Here living in the world and at all altitudes

Ever striving to find my place and happiness

Really feeling the ultimate coherence, inside and outside

Exchanging with love with those around me

Nourishing the joy that animates me at any age

Content at last and starting now, opening up to a miraculous world

Everything and everywhere at one with me, indispensable.

CONCRETIZATION

Come true, my wishes—how do I do it?

Omiracle, I am present in every moment

Nourishing every minute by my actions, without thinking too much about it

Counteracting any paradigm, any belief, from a wandering past

Refocusing my emotions on the present moment

Ever listening to my instinct that has never left me

Trying different experiences to follow a set path

Insisting on stepping back and learning to let go, surely

Forcing yourself to co-create by learning from others

Argue, express yourself, exchange and become an apostle

To sustainably reap the benefits of your achievements

Inspiring those around you with your successes

Or dare to join the movement of a world without limits

Now to be born and reborn every day, moved by an infectious love as a mission.

5. ETYMOLOGY From Middle English entencioun, intention, from Old French entencion, from Latin intentiō, intentiōnem. Compare intent. From Middle French entention, from Old French entencion, borrowed from Latin intentiō, intentiōnem. Respelled intention in Middle French to more closely match the Classical Latin form.

6. From Old French afermacion, from Latin affirmare (“to assert”). Doublet of affirmatio. That which is affirmed; a declaration that something is true. (law) The solemn declaration made by Quakers and others incapable of taking an oath. A form of self-forced meditation or repetition; autosuggestion.

Introduction

What if I decided to take charge of my life today?

The method suggested in this book is simple, accessible, progressive and proven.

You don’t need to understand how it works, you just need to agree that it works, focusing on what you can control—namely the method, routine and repetition.

I learn to maintain my mental hygiene in order to stay focused on my intentions, while believing that everything is already happening.

That’s why I believe that my intentions are already materializing, by modeling them in my mind. I prefer the word “modeling”7instead of the more restrictive “visualize,” which only allows for visual sensations when all the senses must be activated.

I will master all aspects of my intentions by taking in the themes discussed below.

This book has partly been written as poems. This is so that the brain can be rocked by the desired rhythms and rhymes; thus, by rereading the verses, the unconscious mind absorbs positive tunes.

→ 1. This book is meant for me

“This is the real secret: the brain that we possess is the work of six million years of development, and more than anything else, this evolution of the brain was designed to lead us to mastery, the latent power within us all.”8

“If you allow yourself to learn who you really are by paying attention to that voice and force within you, then you can become what you were fated to become —an individual, a Master.”9

7. Model: (1975) Derived from model, with the suffix—iser.Verb: to model \m .del\ To conceive, to develop a model allowing to understand, to act, to reach a goal.

8. Robert Greene, Mastery, 2012, page 5.

9. Ibid., page 29.

“Real pleasure comes from overcoming challenges, feeling confidence in your abilities, gaining fluency in skills, and experiencing the power this brings. You develop patience.”10

I hold this book in my hands; do I feel the same about my life, having a serene perspective?

Looking back on the major stages of my life, do I feel that I was in control of my destiny?

As my eyes read these words, I realize I must have something to learn

Discoveries about myself, a potential that could surprise me.

Let me start by thanking myself for the journey so far

With its ups and downs, for sure, with vaults and plateaus

But I experienced frustration, disappointment, anxiety, and I was unaware

It is now time to express my gratitude and move on.

When things seem difficult, I understand that nothing lasts

Better days are coming and I can influence the future

By reading this book, I am ready to make a decision

I am my best ally to accomplish my revolutions.

I am ready to not only succeed in life, but make my life a success

I am willing to seek and find my place in this world

I decide to feel more fulfilled, to use my deeper abilities

And feel a vital need to take care of myself, to attract good vibes.

Perhaps I have been ignoring messages from my heart

I now wish to attain happiness

I aspire and look forward to a period of transition

I will do everything I can to change the situation.

But can I do all this? Am I receptive enough?

Little by little, proof after proof, day after day,

I decide to put luck on my side, and prove to myself

I can give myself at least one chance to show that I have all the assets within me

10. Ibid., page 61.

Is my state of mind compatible with happiness?

Am I eligible, is it still plausible?

Whether skeptic or believer, I am also hypersensitive

I now decide to keep an open mind and welcome this new favor

I aspire to excellent health, to love and be loved,

What could be more natural than to have a successful career and be confident?

For this, I am able to break away from my own laws

To change my own patterns and, with kindness, accept change.

I am happy to take a break

I deserve one to get going again

To question myself, to experiment, to become the Wizard of Oz

In any case, I decide to put my best foot forward.

How long has it been since I’ve stated and formalized the stages of my life in writing?

Connected the highlights of my past as well as my new desires?

I read this book in order to put it into practice

I will move on from theory, and will train systematically.

I will give it a try, and just rely on my goodwill

I multiply my chances of success, starting today

I have decided to try something new every day

To measure the effects and adjust, if necessary, immediately.

Yes, I say yes to this and I accept the bliss

I understand and approve that this book is meant for me

For my present and future benefit, I accept its usefulness

I will take it in, benefit from it, from its affirmations with ease.

First of all, I am grateful and question myself

Searching for answers in every conflict

And imagining different scenarios for my own life,

Allowing myself to dream of positive patterns, I rejoice and smile

It is true that I may be surrounded by people who belittle my hopes

So I learn to ground myself and follow my heart

Whatever happens, even if it’s hard to believe

I reconnect with myself because I recognize my own values.

Through self-training, trial and error

Statistically, I am bound to succeed

I experience the joy and all the emotions this brings

I find a path that suits me, that leads me to success.

Sometimes I may procrastinate, afraid of the stakes and the task at hand

Little by little, I decide to both be proactive and go with the flow

To both observe and seize opportunities

“Rome wasn’t built in a day”—I let go of pressure.

These few words resonate with me, I am Unique

So what a thrill to embark on a beneficial quest

Feeling, traveling, building my future

What could be more rewarding than deciding to act?

Read, discover, predict, this book is for me

It’s never too late, just begin

And with perseverance and tenacity

I will feel the positivity in me.

In addition to my frame of reference dictated by society or my upbringing,

I have the ability to free myself from beliefs based on my zodiac sign

I sometimes take longer to actually succeed,

Because I unconsciously stop myself with outdated, repeated boundaries.

I now know how to dissociate limiting habits from ones yet to learn

I substitute them with statements that reveal who I am today

And I repeat them to myself so that they harmonize with my willpower

My brain assimilates and accepts entirely what I now breathe into it.

I opt for affirmations that are beneficial to me,

Emotions do not define my true being

I take power over my life of which I am the king (queen)

My life is abundant and harmonious, my choices growing.

I visualize my goal, discarding any contradicting reflection

I focus on my goal and not on the failures of a limiting belief

I integrate that, otherwise, I will remain stuck in a loop

And that thus unmoving I will lose sight of my goal by waiting.

The allegory of the carriage or the image of the human body11

It is an image that we find both in Plato’s writing, in the myth of Phaedrus under the title “The winged carriage of the soul.” In the sacred texts of India: the Upanishads. In Gurdjieff and finally, in a more loosely interpreted way, in the book by Michel Odoul, founder of the French Institute of Shiatsu, “Tell me where it hurts and I will tell you why” published by Albin Michel.

THIS METAPHOR IS INTENDED TO HELP US UNDERSTAND

→The different planes (the different dimensions) that govern our existence,

→The interactions that drive them (what sets them in motion).

→And how to find unity and harmony within ourselves.

By comparing us to a carriage. A carriage? That’s right!

→The carriage, with its wheels and its interior, represents our body, thus the physical plane.

→Horses represent emotions, therefore the emotional plane.

→The coachman (the driver of the carriage) represents the mind/conscious, thus the mental plane.

→The master of the carriage (the invisible traveler) represents the higher self, the soul, the deeper self, and therefore the spiritual plane.

→The physical, emotional and mental set represents the personality, the ego. And this carriage rolls (at least, tries to move forward as best it can) on the path of life.

THE CARRIAGE: IT REPRESENTS THE PHYSICAL PLANE.

Our physical vehicle is our body.

→The rear wheels, the biggest ones, represent our legs. They carry our body, as the rear wheels carry the load of the carriage.

→The front wheels, the arms, follow the direction given by the consciousness.

→[…] The state of the body depends on the maintenance of the coachman, but also on the way the horses are pulled.

HORSES: THEY REPRESENT THE EMOTIONAL PLANE, EMOTIONS.

This carriage is driven by two horses: a white one, the masculine principle (YANG), which is on the left and a black one, the feminine principle (YIN) which is on the right.

Horses symbolize our emotions, our passions, our desires. They are the ones that provide us with the energy to pull us, to move forward and can even, and this is a problem, drive our lives. Emotions are the engine of our life.

These are the negative (unpleasant) emotions that signal us when we are not right, not aligned, not centered on a situation. They tell us that we must switch, adapt or change. They are the ones that make us evolve at every moment, that refocus us and that bring us back to what drives us deeply.

IT’S REALLY IMPORTANT TO REALIZE THAT WHATEVER THE NEGATIVE EMOTION IS: FEAR, DOUBT, FEAR, ANGER, HATRED… YOU MUST:

→Welcome it,

→Accompany it, just as you would take the hand of a child who is suffering or who is angry

→Recognize it: yes, I see you, I hear you, go ahead and express yourself,

→Let it temporarily take its place: do not try to make it disappear too quickly,

→Watch and talk to it, so you can hear its message,

→And finally, set it free.

To do this, give yourself the right to experience your emotions and do not repress them. Remember that “everything that is not expressed is printed.”.

THE COACHMAN: HE REPRESENTS THE MENTAL PLANE, WHERE THOUGHTS ARE CREATED.

The coachman’s tasks are in principle:

→To transmit to the master the information coming from the outside: hostile environments, big

→parties…

→To hear the master’s instructions in response to the information transmitted: to take a step back, run away, to slap someone…

→To be able to control the horses, to lead them in the direction indicated by the master: not to be overcome with fear, to shake a leg…

→To take intelligent care of the carriage

THIS ALLEGORY SHOWS VERY CLEARLY THAT THE BEHAVIOR OF HORSES (EMOTIONS) DEPENDS ESSENTIALLY ON THE WAY THEY ARE DIRECTED BY THE COACHMAN (THE MIND). AND THEREFORE THAT:

→Our emotional states are dependent on our thoughts and not on what is happening outside!

→How vigilant driver is and the quality of his driving, firm and smooth, thus conditioning the quality and comfort of the journey (our existence).

→The way the coachman roughs up the horses (emotions) or restrains them will cause them to become upset or run away and they may lead the carriage to an accident. Our emotions some — times lead us to unreasonable and even dangerous actions!

→The lack of concentration, carelessness, will lead the team into ruts (reproduction of parental patterns, for example). We then go into “sheep mode” and follow in the footsteps of others, run—ning the risk of going straight into the ditch, as they did.

→Carelessness will not help avoiding holes, bumps, potholes and the trip will be very uncomfortable for the carriage, the coachman and the inner master.

→If the coachman is asleep, caught up in too many thoughts, too many ramblings or if he does not hold the reins, then it will be the horses that will lead the carriage, they will go where they want and probably not where they should go.

→When the driver drives too fast, forces too much, as we do sometimes or often, or if the horses get carried away, it is directly the ditch, the accident which stops more or less violently the car— riage, with more or less damage (wounds, trauma…).

THE MASTER OF THE CARRIAGE WHO REPRESENTS THE SPIRITUAL PLANE.

It is also called “inner guide,” soul, essence, non-embodied part… It is a passenger that we do not see. It is the aspect of the human being that carries the highest qualities of heart and mind. Only the master knows the true destination and knows how to find the right path at the right time. How does he communicate with the coachman? Through what we call intuition, self-presence, little voice, whatever! If the coachman (the mind) does not take the time to listen to the passenger (the true self), then the passenger will still find a way to transmit what he has to say to the coachman. He will make appear for example in or on the body various and varied symptoms. And the symptoms will be more or less intense until the message is well transmitted and received and the carriage evolves on its own way.

BUT SOMETIMES ALSO…

A wheel or a part of the carriage breaks (a disease), either because it was too fragile, or because the carriage went over too many bumps and in too many holes (too many inappropriate behaviors and attitudes). It is then necessary to repair!

Depending on the severity of the failure:

→You can do it yourself, by resting, healing…

→It is necessary to call upon a troubleshooter using alternative, natural medicines, for example.

→The emergency requires external help, such as surgery.

In any case, we can’t just change a single part! We will have to think about the way the coachman drives and how we change our behaviors, our attitudes towards life, if we don’t want another breakdown to occur.

For as Einstein so aptly put it, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results!”

I take control of my daily life rather than forgetting, resisting, postponing

I take a break, I make an inventory of what works for me

I choose honesty with myself, for new horizons

I let my heart speak, keep my eyes open and get a head start.

I get closer to the Earth, to Nature, my feet are anchored to the ground

I take these limiting beliefs and throw them into a bowl

New energies like a fairy godmother bent over my cradle

Free me from low vibrations and propel me upwards.

And whatever I think today, I will discover unsuspected wealth

I’m going to capitalize on my values, because it turns out that I have some

I will measure their effects on the outside world,

Starting with my interior vision that I will sublimate.

It is inevitable that I have been sensitive to art, to a flower, to a poem

This evidence encourages me to realize that I have potential

I can call upon my creation, my imagination even

To stimulate and shape my work, my material and spiritual life.

This book is for me, because I am a craftsman,

A craftsman who knows more than anyone what is good for me

I am the only person who can feel me at all times

I am the maker of my fortune in any situation.

No need for money, I invest in myself over time

I get involved because I want to find peace of mind

I decide to reach the quietude, the infinite serenity

To climb the ladder and become a winner

I will understand that all the solutions are already in me

I will learn to question my excuses

I will gain confidence, magic will enter my life by choice

I’m going to go in new directions and surprise people with the results I deliver.

I’m going to provoke happy coincidences

I will cultivate the power of repetition

I will know how to react on hazardous paths

I will enjoy the joy, with ambition.

This book is for me, because I have childhood dreams

I make the most of every moment to achieve them

I undertake a journey of accomplishment

I have the satisfaction of being able to look back on my dreams

This book aims to get rid of any resentment and regret in me

I experience time as a mix of my past-present-future ages

I feel satisfaction in perfecting my destiny

I wake up to take care of my inner child’s dreams, so they will last.

Little by little, I become aware of the value of my actions

I pay attention to all the parts of myself that are essential to my whole being

I materialize the qualities of my life with diligence

I feel that I am becoming a link that radiates everywhere.

REMINDER

♦ This book is addressed to me because

♦ I am proud of what I have been able to achieve so far

♦ I have the potential to learn

♦ Whatever my situation, I can improve it

♦ I have the will to take control of my destiny

♦ I have the desire to experiment, relying on my values I start today

Notes

→ 2. Why do I deserve the Life I dream of?

“There is, moreover, another way of defining happiness, this time by reference to the concept of the present moment: happiness refers to any moment when I accept what is happening here and now.”12

“I am learning to turn the tedious into the mundane, the mundane into the pleasant and the pleasant into the wonderful.”13

I deserve to connect to what I am passionate about

I allow myself to live a life that thrills me and to find my place

I have the right to have new experiences that resonate

To capitalize on my talents and surpass myself with audacity.

My childhood dreams have value, it is my responsibility to listen to them

I respect them, value them, give them a chance to exist

I can’t ignore them, because they are part of me

I ask my intelligence to recognize them with faith.

I reconnect my self to what he loves, to what he is passionate about

I implement a strategy that allows me to surpass myself

Not a constant daily work, I give priority to those who reason with me

I make an appointment with myself and reconcile all parts of the wounded self.

The difference between the “ego” and the “self”14

The ego and the self are terms that are often confused, and defined in different ways depending on whether we are talking about psychology, philosophy, spirituality or a particular religion.

In any case, the difference between the two terms is based on the gap between an individual’s perception of himself and what he really is. The ego is what I think I know about myself, whereas the self is what I really am.

More precisely, we can define the ego and the self as follows:

→The ego: it is what allows us to say ‘I’ and to exist as a subject. Consequently, the ego is also the individual that we believe to be. This approach is common to philosophy, psycho- logy and spirituality:

•The ego is born from the consciousness of ourselves. However, our con- sciousness being limited, imperfect and subjected to determinisms, the ego is largely distant from our real being,

•According to Freud, the ego is the psychological authority which makes the link be—tween the id and the superego: a kind of mediator. The ego is at the sametime conscious and unconscious, it sets up strategies and defense mech—anisms to find its place in the society,

→The self is our whole individuality, seen in an objective way. It is therefore our true being (we sometimes speak of the ‘true self’):
