Introduction

Welcome to the complete guide to understanding Past Lives. In this book, I will explain how to recognize the existence of Past Lives, how to discover if you have any, and how to understand how they happened. Through the Seal of Past Lives, you will remember the oldest memories that have led you to be who you are today, both physically and psychically. Remembering your past is important for understanding who you really are, why you were born, and what the ultimate goal of your life is. Many believe that remembering your past lives has only one purpose, that it all ends in recalling a few memories to see yourself in a physical body different from the one you have today. But past lives are not just that: they allow you to discover information about your Essence that is currently hidden and invisible to your eyes. Information and knowledge that you could never discover unless you remembered it through a practical connection with your deepest Essence. They belong to you and have shaped you, making you who you are today. Deep down, you know that you are much more than what you see in the mirror or what people see when they look at you. You know it, but you have no proof. The Seal of Past Lives will help you find it, guiding you through the discovery of knowledge that you would never have had access to except through the profound teachings of those who have already gone through that. In this book, you will find answers to all your questions, from the simplest to the most complex to understand and discover, filling your life with knowledge and skills. You will learn about the fortunes and problems you have carried with you through dozens of reincarnations, as well as gain access to guided practices that will allow you to free yourself from negative karma and curses you have received in the past. But that's not all: what you will find will be much more abundant than you could ever imagine. Follow your instincts and let yourself be carried away by the first chapter: you will feel enormous satisfaction.

The Truth About Reincarnation

When we talk about reincarnation, we immediately think of the deliberately erroneous and exaggerated concept that has been instilled in us since childhood, to distance us from the existence of past lives in order to prevent us from discovering Who We really Are. Reincarnation immediately makes you think that in a previous life you were a plant, then you became an ant, then a pig in your next life, then you passed into a human body, then you became a cat, and so on. This thought immediately puts up barriers in your mind that make you say, "It's all nonsense! I don't want to believe that I was an ant in my last life and that in my next life I will become a mere pet, after all the hard work and obstacles I have had to overcome in this one! And your thinking is absolutely correct, because reincarnation does not work in such a confusing and disorderly way, although it is not a continuous evolutionary growth for everyone, as it depends on each person and the life choices they make; but this does not mean that you go from being an ant to being a human being with such simplicity. You can certainly rest assured that in your previous life you were not an ant or a pig, but a human being. I assure you that through this book you will understand everything about reincarnation and past lives, so take your time to read it carefully and don't skip a single page, so that when you finish reading you will have a wealth of knowledge. The first fundamental step in discovering your Past Lives is to know and understand the act of Reincarnation. Although many believe that it is a foregone conclusion and completely obvious that it happens, in reality not everyone manages to reincarnate, because it’s an event of great importance, but an event that today's society doesn’t prepare us to go through, so we arrive at that moment without the slightest preparation. Some people prepare their whole lives to be ready for reincarnation and achieve it exactly as they have desired, while many others—like us—arrive at it almost without knowing of its existence or believing in it, and that event becomes a real struggle. Reincarnation is the continuation of life, the enormous possibility you have to change your personality, life, place of birth, family, mental abilities, because you don't just change cities, you change everything about your life, even yourself! So, it’s a wonderful experience if understood in the right terms. But what might think about it a person who has spent this life suffering and who relies solely on the crumbs of erroneous theory that has been drummed into them? Clearly, they might think that reincarnation is a condemnation, because it will force them to suffer 'forever' just as they’re suffering today. Reincarnation is not the continuation of this life, with the same body, the same thoughts, and the same things happening, but it’s the possibility of being reborn in a completely different context, in the shoes and mind of someone different from who you are today. A person who tends toward depression sees everything negatively and also impresses this kind of thinking on others, causing them to despise life. Our life, although it may frighten us on various occasions, is the greatest opportunity we have been given, and we should not waste it or ruin it with our own hands. Those who are prone to depression believe that the solution to all evils is the decision to die, because the idea of dying forever makes them feel free from responsibility. Unfortunately, there are many who don’t have a clear idea about the succession of Lives, which is why some people believe that reincarnation should be stopped, so to speak, defining it almost as a condemnation. In fact, there are those who believe that reincarnation is a repetition of the same life, with the same problems and the same pains, life after life in total sameness; but fortunately, this is not the case at all. They argue that reincarnation is something to be stopped, to be avoided at all costs, because it is much better to 'die forever' than to change your life and open yourself up to new possibilities. Others, such as Catholics, completely reject the existence of reincarnation because they believe in heaven and hell, so that once we die, we will join the angels who will welcome us into heaven, or the demons who will torment us for eternity. We will also discuss this topic in this book, but let's make one thing clear right away: whether you want to believe it or not, it doesn't change anything. Reincarnation is a natural fact that we will all try to achieve at the end of our lives, but we can choose to arrive there ready or to deny it until the end and risk dying forever, or even reincarnating in a body and a life that we will not like at all because of our lack of awareness and inability to make quick and useful decisions. Reincarnation is the continuation of life, but not of this life: it’s the continuation of true life. Our current life is only one of many that we live to fill our Soul with different and sometimes conflicting knowledge, and every single life is different because we are different. In one life we may be born a woman, in the next a man, and just by changing sex we can overturn our entire view of life as it goes on. A male mind is very different from a female mind, in that it reasons differently, observes differently, and feels emotions for different reasons and in different situations. Living one life as a woman and then another as a man allows you to expand your knowledge and evolve your Consciousness in a far superior way, rather than always living in only female bodies or only in male bodies. Reincarnation in different bodies is not even remotely equivalent to the decision to change sex through surgery in the same lifetime, because it’s not just about having a different body, but it’s about the mind and one's way of reasoning and experiencing life, which cannot be changed by surgery. So, undergoing many reincarnations and living multiple lives in female bodies and then in male bodies is very different from trying to become the other sex in the same lifetime, because you may look like them physically, but you will never understand how the other thinks inside their mind unless you experience it firsthand by living it from birth. This is one reason why reincarnation is extremely fascinating and worth experiencing, as there is no pain, only a great experience.

How Reincarnation Works

First of all, it’s important to understand that we are not our physical bodies, but rather the Consciousness that lives within our bodies. For many years now, we have looked in the mirror and recognized ourselves with that face, that body, and that character that we find there; but the truth is that we are what lies within all of this: we are Consciousness. When our body is giving up and its time comes, we must let it end its life without ending ours, because the body is just a machine that we use until it stops working, at which point we take a new model and reincarnate in it. Sometimes we move only a short distance from the place where we have lived all our lives, so we pass from one deceased body to another that is just being born and is located in the immediate vicinity, for example in the same city or region. Other times, we move far away, even to the other side of the world, to find the body we have always wanted or the kind of life and culture we would like to discover and learn about from the inside. The wonder of reincarnation is that it can offer you the most extensive experiences. You can be born in the body of a French person and, in due course, be reincarnated in the body of a Chinese person. You might think that this makes no sense, that it would be enough to study China and its language in one lifetime and that there would be no need to die and then be reborn in the body of a Chinese person to fully understand their culture. However, China, like all other places in the world, cannot be understood simply by studying it from the outside, but can only be understood by experiencing it from the inside. You could decide today to move to China and live there for the rest of your life, but the Chinese will never reveal their culture and secrets to you in their complex entirety, because there is knowledge that they only want to pass on to other Chinese people. So, you could study China thoroughly for as much as you can, but you would never understand it as well as a Chinese person who was born there. On the other hand, you may feel that, in the end, you don't care, that you live here and that China is of little importance to you, but this is your human thinking and not that of your Consciousness: it is hungry, it wants to feed on as much information as possible, and it’s a hunger that you do not currently understand. Your Consciousness wants to live, to experience, to discover how the world works and to learn about the culture of every place, even information that you may consider irrelevant or of little value. It wants to know, it wants to learn, it is hungry and wants to feed on information. It’s not enough for it to study a place or a culture in a book: it wants to experience it firsthand. This is why reincarnation is a very important journey for your Consciousness: because it allows you to live again, in a different form, to venture into places and cultures that you would otherwise never have been able to explore so deeply. Consciousness, that is the most real part of you—which you have always been unaware of having and being—wants to grow, expand, and know the truth in all its forms—because one answer is not enough for it, it wants to discover the whole picture—and to do so, it needs to reincarnate in order to live as many lives as possible. Every life is an opportunity it does not want to give up, but as I said at the beginning, it’s not so easy to reincarnate, and I will explain why later. Those who fail to reincarnate may end up in other dimensions, one of which is an astral plane very close to the physical one in which we live at the moment, where they are called "ghosts" or "entities": the Consciousnesses of deceased people who cannot detach themselves from the life they have lived and are still too attached to this earthly dimension, so they cannot reincarnate into another life. Some of them, after a long time stuck in this dimension, manage to understand the mechanism and decide to let go of their previous life, freeing themselves from the chains they were tightening with their own hands, finally finding the reason to start a new life in a newly born physical body. Others, however, remain so attached to their past life and their deceased physical body that they cannot detach themselves from those memories, eventually wearing themselves out over time until their soul is reduced to fragments and disappears completely. To be able to reincarnate, you must be able to move on and accept that your previous life is over, that it’s not healthy nor productive to remain chained to a deceased body because it can no longer offer you anything, so you must move on and start a new life. Reincarnation usually occurs when the physical body is about to die, so there is very little time left before it dies. The soul begins to prepare to leave and then find another body. On some occasions, however, the soul begins to organize itself a little before the body is dying, even a year or two before, to better prepare for the detachment from the old body and entry into the new one. Reincarnation is much more difficult to understand than to experience, because it’s a transition that the soul makes in a totally natural way, driven by a higher instinct that guides it, just like any other function of Nature that is performed without asking how to do it: you just do it. There are two main reasons why reincarnation does not succeed for everyone. The first is the inability to detach ourselves from our previous life, even when the body has been dead for quite some time: this keeps the soul tied to the past without allowing it to move on and start a new life. The second difficulty that slows down or prevents reincarnation is due to the weakness of the soul and the absence of energy, which we will discuss in more detail later. If it wasn’t for these two points, reincarnation would be much simpler, as it’s a natural event and there is nothing strange about it, even though we want to believe it is something paranormal. Although we would never want to die, our body knows when its time is coming, and our Consciousness knows it best. When the body becomes ill, or when age has advanced and the organs no longer function as well, the body realizes that it is about to shut down and recognizes that within a certain time it will cease to function. Even if we’re not consciously aware of it, the body knows that within a short time, which could be a year, for example, its functions will cease and it will shut down. We are not mentally aware of this process, so until the very end we may think the opposite, but the body realizes when its life is about to end because its internal functions are not working as they should, and this will have obvious consequences. However, our consciousness sees even further ahead, so much so that it may realize the future death of the body even many years in advance, even 5 years or more. The body can sense its death if it’s caused by illness or old age, but it cannot know of a death caused by an accident, because for it this would be a completely unexpected and impossible to predict death. It is different for the Consciousness, which can know the cause of its death even years in advance, even if it’s not due to natural causes but to an accident or similar events. Sometimes, while foreseeing the future death of your physical body, your Consciousness decides to avoid it and therefore change the future, or rather postpone the date of death by decades, causing it to occur from natural causes at a different age than previously foreseen. At other times, however, the higher Consciousness is unable to prevent the event, as it doesn’t have enough energy and strength to do so, and can therefore only resign itself to its fate. In other situations, however, it is the Higher Self itself that decides to proceed with that future (and therefore with accidental death) because it believes that the time has come to change your life, but in order to do so, it’s absolutely necessary to first conclude this life and, sometimes, it accepts that the accident will happen without stopping it, precisely to allow you to change your life. All this happens without you consciously realizing anything, as you don’t have a very good connection with your Consciousness, so it decides but you don’t understand its choices. This is normal because in order to communicate with your Consciousness, you need to practice specific techniques that allow you to increase your sensory faculties, enabling you to understand, communicate, and act in unison with your Consciousness, and I will explain all of these techniques to you in this book. Knowing that sooner or later we will die is a difficult realization to accept, precisely because we see the death of the physical body as our death; but this is not the case, or at least, it’s not necessarily the case if we decide to prepare ourselves for reincarnation, giving the right value to our current life. When the physical body dies, the Consciousness, or Soul, detaches itself and seeks a new container, a new means of living in this dimension, and therefore a new physical body suitable for it. For this reason, it will not choose to reincarnate as a plant, an ant, or a chicken, because these are not the experiences that your Consciousness requires; it wants to push itself towards increasingly evolved and conscious forms of life. Therefore, it will try to reincarnate in a human being and, as far as possible, it will try to reincarnate in the human being it wishes to become, depending on the life and destiny it has planned for itself, because it wants to nourish itself with an experience that is useful for it. We will explore this concept in much greater depth later on. Moving on, the Consciousness looks for another body to reincarnate in, and the search can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of years. After that, when the Consciousness is ready, the right body has been found, and all the circumstances are right, the Consciousness joins the physical body in a totally natural way, becoming one with it. And that's how reincarnation happens. Consciousness is pure energy, and the human physical body is perfect for containing it, so it immerses itself within the body and is gradually 'absorbed', so that the Soul is completely in its place within the body, as if they became one. The physical body is perfectly designed to contain only one soul, although sometimes it may be believed that there is more than one soul in a single body. This confusion stems from the fact that in some particular cases, multiple personalities from past lives of the same person show themselves simultaneously, with their different characteristics and traits that distinguish them, so much so that it seems as if there are multiple souls within a single body. The truth is that there is only one soul, but it has lived many lives, and these can sometimes emerge in unexpected ways, showing themselves simultaneously. This leads us to believe that the person suffers from multiple personality disorder, when they’re unable to control their multiple emotions. In reality, we are all influenced by the personalities of our past lives, but without realizing it, so we believe that all our thoughts, desires, passions, and affections are the result of our careful evaluation, without realizing that they may instead derive from personalities and memories of our past lives. Those who suffer from split personality find themselves in a state where they cannot control themselves, so they cannot maintain a balance between their personalities but are overwhelmed by them, and this leads to problems. We will talk more about this later. When the physical body is at the end of its life, the Soul begins to prepare for separation, which takes some time, so it withdraws all the energy that had expanded into the body until, at the right moment, it completely leaves the now deceased physical body to find a new body to enter. The situation is different when the death of the body was unexpected, such as in the case of a car accident or murder, because the body could not foresee its own death. If the Consciousness was already prepared for the situation, it was already preparing to leave the body even without the latter knowing about its death, as it didn’t result from causes that it could have foreseen. However, if the Consciousness itself is not ready because it was unable to foresee it, it finds itself in a situation where the person doesn’t realize that they are dead and remains too attached to their old life, even though they have been dead for some time. This brings us back to the first reason why not everyone manages to reincarnate: we have called this case 'Ghosts' or 'Entities'. When Consciousness finds a new body that is suitable for it, it transfers itself into it, implementing the natural process that we now call Reincarnation.

What are Past Lives

Reincarnation leads to multiple successive lives, one after the other, allowing you to experience very different emotions and situations. Currently, you only know your present life, which may be very happy or may leave you dissatisfied, so you may think that all your past lives were the same as this one and that it’s not very interesting to discover them. However, past lives are very important to know about and also deeply interesting, because they allow you to bring to the surface many other sides of yourself that neither you nor anyone else knows about, let alone could describe. A past life cannot be described; it must be lived from within, remembering the most important moments and also those that seem less important, because they can help you understand who you really are. Through memories of past lives, you can discover a lot of information about yourself, for example, recognizing that your greatest fears stem from bad experiences in past lives, which you continue to carry with you today even though you have no rational reason to do so. Or you may discover that some personal problems, such as difficulty in submitting to a society that tells you what to do without ever answering your questions, also stem from a mindset and lifestyle you had previously. Today, you don't remember all your past lives, so you may believe that everything you have and you are, is the result of this one present life, even though every single one of your characteristics may have been influenced or derived from past lives that were completely different from each other. In fact, you should not believe that all your past lives are more or less identical, where the only things that change are your physical appearance, date, time, and place of birth. Each of your past lives is very different from the ones before and after, so knowing one is not enough to know yourself: you must open yourself up to the knowledge of more past lives, so that they can give you many more answers to your questions. One life is not enough to know all the information in the world, which is why you need to live many and why your life does not have to end here: you can keep on evolving and discovering much more than you currently know, because there is always a higher level than the one you have already reached. Don't stop! Past lives, or rather lives that go on, are necessary for you to evolve and fulfil missions that change and evolve over time, depending on the place and time in which you are reincarnated. Every life is different, and each has a different purpose. Don’t believe that every life is useless or boring, that they are all the same, that they are all monotonous and carried out with a single goal in life, which is to work and raise a family, because there is much more to accomplish, but this doesn’t mean that you have to give up the first two. Sacrifices are not necessary, even though religion has imposed on us the belief in a severe God who asks you to give up everything and sacrifice yourself for him. But we will talk about this later and I will show you a much more serious and truthful version of the face of God, which you have sought in many lives and found in many others, far from religious assumptions. In each life, you’ve had different experiences thanks to the culture of the country you lived in, thanks to the economic and social situations in which you were born, thanks to the family that in some lives supported you and in others greatly hindered you, and also thanks to the physical body in which you were reincarnated, its race and appearance, which on some occasions has benefited you and on others has brought you many difficulties. Moreover, during your lives, you have not always chosen only human bodies, but also bodies of other forms that do not necessarily belong to this planet, but are also very far from this System, and we will talk about this later. What is important to know is that each life has built a new piece of your Consciousness that was essential to fill, as one single life was not enough to form a Soul full of knowledge. In fact, however, something that everyone takes for granted is the birth of the Soul, as we talk about its evolution but almost never about its birth, almost as if it had appeared out of nowhere already evolved and grown, without having to go through any steps before becoming what it is today. Worse still, one might think that the Souls of all people in the world are the same, all at the same level of evolution, equal in every way, even though we know very well that there are very dark people and very good and generous people; yet we want to put them all on the same level, considering their Souls as if they were all identical. Instead, the Soul is also born, evolves, grows, and matures, without following a chronology of identical steps for everyone: each of us is different and performs different actions and experiences in order to evolve spiritually. Therefore, we cannot believe that we all have souls that were born at the same time and are equal with the same knowledge and experiences, even though it is comforting to believe that we all possess the typical "ancient soul" that has always been evolved. Just think that new souls are being born today, just as new children are born every day, so a soul born today cannot be compared to a soul born millions of years ago. However, we have been accustomed to not asking ourselves these kinds of questions, let alone seeking answers, because 'seeking answers is wrong!', it’s much better to rely on a non-answer that silences our mind's need to know. So we believe that all souls are identical, born on the same day, and that there are no modern souls, but that they are all necessarily ancient, ours first and foremost, probably the oldest of all—even though we refuse to believe that there is a difference between the dates of birth of souls. Yet you will discover that there is a great difference between the birth of each of them.

The Difference between Consciousness and Soul

It can be very difficult to accept that you have lived past lives when you have no idea how reincarnation works and how memories are erased every time you reincarnate, especially because you do not understand the reason for this event. Therefore, today you recognize yourself only as a physical being, without giving the slightest thought to the possibility of having been someone else, even very different from who you are, in another era. Of course, if you don't remember, you can't have any idea what it means to be someone else who was you, but with a different mind; but you are here precisely to learn methods for seeing your past lives without using your imagination, but with real abilities and memories. I am aware that you would like to know everything right away. Even though you have seen the thickness of this book, you would like me to explain everything there is to know in just a few lines, as if this were possible. But in order to understand the function of past lives and be able to see and remember them firsthand, you need to understand the principle of the Soul, from its birth to its growth. In fact, there is an important difference between Consciousness and Soul. Although I have used these two terms as synonyms so far, there is actually a difference that will allow you to understand what a young soul is, as opposed to a more mature one. I don’t like to define a soul with the adjective 'ancient', as everyone in the world defines themselves as people with ancient souls, so this term is losing its value and seriousness. Instead, we will talk about a young soul and a more mature soul, i.e., one that is more capable of guiding its life in the right and most evolutionary direction, as opposed to a soul that is still incapable of setting rules for its human Self. Everyone in the world possesses Consciousness, which is the higher part of the Mind, a sort of evolved guide that pushes you towards one choice rather than another, which always turns out to be the right one even when you wouldn’t have bet on it, because it’s guided by a higher instinct, regardless of whether it is listened to or not. Consciousness is what you really are, it is your true self, it’s what you are inside and not your outward appearance. You are the Consciousness that lives inside a human body and inside a human life, but Consciousness is something much greater and truer than everything around you, which we could define as a world made of illusions. Therefore, every human being and every animal has a Consciousness. In reality, even plants have it because, although it may seem insignificant to us, they are alive and feel pain or emotions, albeit obviously very different and far from those we feel; this doesn’t mean that they are not alive. Of course, the life of a plant is very different from that of a human being, so we can’t compare them and consider the two experiences to be the same or equal in terms of spiritual evolution. We’re talking about the fact that even a plant is alive, but this doesn’t mean that its spiritual evolution is equal to that of an average human being capable of thinking, reflecting, acting, and creating something from nothing. So, human consciousness is much more evolved than that of a plant, but also than that of animals. Although many people today believe that animals are far superior to humans, considering them to be kinder, more likeable, more intelligent, and more loving, because our love for animals makes us see this, we must not lose our objectivity and forget that human beings are the most evolved animals, because they are capable of reasoning and deciding after careful reflection, rather than letting themselves be carried away by their animal instincts. Even if many people love animals more than humans, we must be objective and realize that when you have a problem to solve, the one who can help you is another person, not an animal. When you need medical care for an illness or a serious virus, you go to a doctor, not a dog; when you need expert advice, you go to a lawyer, not a horse. Although we may love animals even more than humans, we must not lose our objectivity and believe that animals can be more mentally and spiritually evolved than humans, as this thought is becoming overly prevalent, leading many people to follow an exaggerated philosophy of life, in which animals in danger are saved while humans in danger are left to die. This concept is important for understanding that animals also have consciousness, because they are alive, feel emotions, and have memories, but despite the love we may feel for them, we must not cease to be objective and recognize that animal consciousness cannot be compared to human consciousness. Clearly, there are always exceptions, but exceptions are not the rule. Human consciousness is much more evolved than that of the rest of the animal kingdom. Regardless of the choices we make, which may be good or bad for other people, this doesn’t detract from the fact that human beings possess a more evolved consciousness than all other living beings on this planet. In fact, human beings are the species most prone to reincarnation, while it’s much rarer for an animal or a tree to be reincarnated. When we talk about reincarnation, we immediately think that we can transfer from a tree to a human body, but reincarnation is not that chaotic, as it is a transfer of energy from one ideal body to another equally suitable body; it doesn’t pass from being an oak tree to being a human being with absolute simplicity, that would be unthinkable. The reincarnation of a plant refers to the transfer of energy and memories from a dying plant to another that is being born or has already grown nearby, allowing that plant to live its existence in its new form, with a package of memories from a previous life. Although we have been taught a completely wrong theory about reincarnation, which sees a tree reincarnating as a human being as if nothing had happened, the truth is that reincarnation is a transfer of data. Reincarnation doesn’t mean that one body is transformed into another body, as if by magic, but that there is a transfer of data from one body to another, so that the memories and recollections of the dying body are passed on to the new body full of life, in order to continue evolution. Only in this way can we keep on evolving instead of remaining at the same level for millennia: because reincarnation exists, allowing us to move forward with our minds, simply changing bodies but continuing with our evolution. It would be very different if every time a person died, all their memories, ideas, and creations died with them. Even if we don't see it, understand it, or believe it, at some point in our lives we will try to move on, that is, to carry on our memories and knowledge by transferring them to a new body, rather than dying forever. Death frightens us because we don’t fully understand what reincarnation is, but once we understand it, death will no longer frighten us because we will realize that only the physical body dies, while Consciousness goes on and continues its process, simply moving into a new body. Therefore, there is a transfer of data, memories, and recollections from one body to another in both the plant and animal kingdoms, although it is much more synthesized than what happens in the human kingdom. We can therefore understand how the small Consciousness of a plant can transfer, in its own time, from the body of a sick or dying plant to the body of another nearby plant that is just beginning its life and has the opportunity to continue its personal evolution. We can find the same situation in an animal that, when dying, could transfer its memories to another animal that is being born, and we call this transfer of data reincarnation. Although it’s rare for this to happen in the plant and animal kingdoms, similar cases can occur. It is quite different for humans, who are far more inclined and suited to reincarnation. Even in this case, however, reincarnation is not a rule that all people are able to follow, as there are those who don’t achieve the detachment or awareness necessary to enter a new body, and therefore their life ends there, as their consciousness gradually wears away until it crumbles completely. There are people who manage to reincarnate and others for whom this life is to be considered their last. Reincarnation is an act that is performed time after time, which means that having managed to reincarnate once doesn’t mean that they’ll always succeed. In fact, in this life, we may meet several people who have past lives, which means that they have managed to reincarnate from previous lives to arrive at this one; however, this does not imply that they will also manage to reincarnate in this life and that, as a matter of fact, we will meet them again in the next life. For some of them, in fact, this could be their last life, even if they’ve had past ones. All of this also applies to us, as reincarnation is not mandatory and, for some of us, this could be our last life. However, reincarnation is not a gamble, and it is not a surprise, where you never know whether you will be reincarnated today or not. It is a consequence of our evolutionary growth, so if we understand how it works and what is really necessary to continue our existence, we can go on with the succession of future lives. So, there is nothing to bet on or hope for, as there are actions we can take to continue our lives. All this may be a little frightening, but there is nothing to worry about, because regardless of whether you know it or not, or whether you accept it or not, reincarnation is what we will all try to achieve at the end of our lives, even those who have spent their entire lives denying its existence. The important thing is to get there aware of how it works to prevent harm from happening. So, we can think of life as a choice, because you can choose whether to continue and increase your evolution, or regress. Reincarnation is a completely natural fact, which all humans who possess a Consciousness could achieve, although it would be better to say that it is a transfer of data from one body to another. All humans could achieve reincarnation, but unfortunately many don’t. This is because achieving it once can be aided by the fact that at that moment you are able to detach yourself so well from your now ended life that everything aligns so that you are able to enter a new body. However, succeeding once in reincarnation is not enough to succeed every time. You might even succeed two or three times in a row, but having two or three past lives is nothing compared to having lived hundreds or thousands of past lives. This is the main difference between Consciousness and Soul. Everyone has Consciousness and everyone could transfer to a new body after the death of the first, but the Soul is something that goes far beyond a simple data transfer: the Soul has undergone hundreds, if not thousands, of reincarnations. Everyone in the world has a Consciousness and therefore everyone could be suitable for reincarnation, but few are able to go on and replicate reincarnation life after life, as most people wear themselves out more and more instead of using reincarnation to evolve. As a result, few people in the world have a Consciousness so evolved that it can be defined as a Soul.

The birth of the Soul

From an early age, we are accustomed to speaking of the Soul as synonymous with Consciousness, to the point of replacing the term and referring to the Soul as something taken for granted, something that everyone in the world has, deluded that there can’t be a person who doesn’t have it. In truth, the Soul is something much more complex, as everyone possesses Consciousness, but not everyone possesses the Soul. This is because Consciousness is what you really are, it’s your mind, it's that part of your existence that goes well beyond the appearance of the physical body in which you reside. The Soul, however, is the evolution of Consciousness, thanks to the succession of reincarnations that have led it to expand to a higher level that has memorized many more past lives. To think that everyone has a Soul, according to the true concept, would be like believing that people are born already 90 years old, without realizing that no one is born an adult, but rather we are born children and from that starting point we must then grow and mature; despite this, not everyone manages to reach and therefore live to the age of 90. This is to understand that a child is born a child, not an old person, so it’s unthinkable to define them as mature and evolved at only one year of age. For the same reason, a Soul is the succession of continuous and uninterrupted reincarnations, which has led Consciousness to evolve so much that it has become a Soul. When a person manages to reincarnate many times, going on with spiritual growth from life to life, a Soul is born. It’s something that goes far beyond Consciousness, because it’s not just its next level, but something much greater. We could say that the Soul becomes conscious, in the sense that it becomes capable of making decisions and acting on life, creating new situations and solutions, separately from what the human Self is doing. Consciousness, on the other hand, is not capable of creating situations in life: it can guide the human Self to make better choices than others, and this is very helpful, but it cannot create favorable situations for its life out of nothing, because it doesn’t have enough experience and ability to do so. There is a big difference between the human self and Consciousness, and even more so between the human self and the Soul. We can say that the human self is what you recognize most in yourself: your thoughts, your way of reasoning, your character, and therefore your current personality. The human self is your human mind, that part of you that you find immediately on the surface, so it is your way of living life and reacting to the situations you face every day. In practice, the human self is what you say you are, it’s what you describe when you talk about yourself. Consciousness, on the other hand, is something much deeper within you, and although it may seem strange, it’s who you really are, while the human self is a personality you’ve had to create in this life to adapt to the society around you. Your way of thinking and living your life has been created over time, from when you went to school to the time you spent with your family, because you had to adapt to other people, to your loved ones, to the rules of this society and everything that follows, so you created a human ego, to which you have become so attached that you recognize it as your true identity. Your Consciousness, on the other hand, is your true identity, but because you are unaware of it, you’ve had to hide it deep inside, leaving a false self on the surface, which is more suitable to show to others. Since the whole society pushes you to be much more the human ego than to be yourself—that is, the higher self—you have hardly had a chance to know who you really are, because you were too young when you were set on the path to becoming the human self. When you were a child, you were much more aware of yourself, although you were not able to describe what you were feeling or experiencing. However, you were much more connected to your Consciousness. In fact, you noticed many injustices, you wondered why certain things were done one way rather than another, you were doubtful about how things work in today's world, but the answers you got from adults did not silence your sense of injustice and dissatisfaction with many unresolved questions. Their way of answering you was to silence you, closing your mind. So, you were raised to accept false or half-answers, to train yourself not to ask questions anymore, and, ironically, today you are probably that adult who silences children's questions because you don't know how to answer them. When they ask you questions about the injustice of the world, the only thing you can say is, "That's the way the world is! Period! Now eat and don't ask any more silly questions!" Yet those questions are dictated by a higher instinct called Conscience, an instinct that is silenced by the human self. So, what you believe yourself to be and the presentation you make of yourself is actually the biography of your human self, while your true self, the real you, is so hidden within you that not even knows it. This is because you have been prevented from allowing it to resurface and evolve, forced since childhood to be ashamed of it and lock it up in a cell with rusty metal bars to prevent it from coming out even once, even by mistake. Even if you think you know yourself, because you show one face to the people you know while inside you are someone else, I guarantee that the person you think you are, is still very far from who you really are. You are much more than just a person who hides their thoughts and feelings from others by showing different ones; you are something that goes far beyond your current understanding. There is a big difference between the human self and Consciousness, as well as your Higher Self. The birth of the Soul begins when a Consciousness, which reincarnates several times, pushes itself to seek something more than a simple human life composed of unique everyday elements, which are working and raising a family. When a Consciousness pushes itself to seek something else, including answers to its questions and knowledge beyond what is already known, a process of evolution is activated that will lead the Consciousness to evolve into a true Soul. What it seeks is a spiritual path that allows it to be something more than a Consciousness trapped in a human body: it wants to be free to make its own choices, it wants to find Awakening. At that point, Consciousness will take fundamental steps towards evolution, pushing the human self to perform certain actions to find its Awakening and, through this, Consciousness will become a Soul. When the Soul is born, however, we should not think of it as indestructible, because even a Soul, just like Consciousness, if abandoned without nourishment, can deteriorate over time. As already mentioned, in fact, in every life we must be able to achieve reincarnation, but to do so we must arrive prepared. If we manage to reincarnate in one life, it doesn’t necessarily mean that we will succeed in all of them, because in all of them we will have to try again. Once you reach a certain level, where Consciousness has become much greater and more evolved and can be considered a Soul, you will find it easier to reincarnate, as at this point it is something you have done at least a hundred times, but this does not mean that there is no possibility that a Soul will fail to reincarnate. This is because it all depends on the quality of the human ego's life, which, if lived in a certain way, will lead to spiritual evolution and therefore the Soul will continue to reincarnate and grow exponentially. If, on the other hand, the life of the human ego is not lived in the healthiest and most correct way possible, but is instead lived in a destructive way, the human ego causes its Soul to regress, dragging it back down instead of allowing it to evolve and move forward: it makes it go backwards, causing it to lose much of the work it had done in past lives. In essence, no one has a one-way ticket to evolution, but each time we find ourselves facing a return ticket to a point in the past if we do not take advantage of our current life to improve ourselves where we have left gaps. This is because there are many obstacles to overcome in order to be reincarnated in each life and to live the kind of life that one's Soul aspires to. I would therefore like to bring them to light so that you can understand what is hindering your life and your constant well-being, in order to break them down in this life and not have to carry them over into others.
