Book Presentation: Bamboozled by Angela McGlowan

Book Abstract

Bamboozled is an attack on liberal strategies that use revisionist history, race, and fear to keep blacks, women, and Hispanics voting Democrat. McGlowan describes the reasons why Democrats must convince these groups that, although their party’s purposes go against the majority of their core values, the Republicans pose a greater threat. She asserts that the values women and minorities hold dear are actually politically disastrous for the liberal agenda.

McGlowan provides a historical review of both the Democrat and Republican Party’s records on race, civil rights, and women’s rights. Through extensive research and personal interviews, she offers a behind-the-scenes look at the strategies and tactics used to “bamboozle” millions of voters. She also shows how the tides are turning as many minorities are realizing that the liberal strategies of “victimhood” and dependence have never served their interests and she gives advice on how America can work to build a bamboozle-free future.

Summary of Bamboozled (Angela McGlowan)

Ideological Emancipation

Forget about blue and red states or value voting Republicans versus fiscal conservatives. There are only three constituencies that hold the power to control the political playing field in 2008 and for decades to come. These are women, Latinos and blacks; all groups that liberals thought they had a lock on. But that grip is loosening as greater access to information has begun to expose a half-century’s worth of liberal deceit and lies. The American political landscape is about to undergo a major transformation.
