Book Presentation: Constitutional Chaos by Judge Andrew P. Napolitano

Book Abstract

In Constitutional Chaos, Judge Andrew P. Napolitano argues that America’s founding principles and laws are being trampled upon by judges, politicians, bureaucrats, prosecutors and police. Napolitano believes Americans can no longer consider their rights to be guaranteed.

Praised by Bill O’Reilly, Rush Limbaugh and Kenneth Starr, Constitutional Chaos includes example after example of instances where government agencies have broken laws and violated citizens’ rights in order to get what they want. Napolitano says that Americans must force lawmakers and law enforcers to obey the same laws that the rest of us do in order to uphold the rights of all American citizens as protected by the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Summary of Constitutional Chaos (Judge Andrew P. Napolitano)

Breaking the Law

Perhaps President Ronald Reagan summed it up best when he said, “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’”

It may come as a surprise for some Americans to hear, but the government – at all levels – regularly breaks its own laws. While it should be against the law to break the law, it apparently is not when the government is doing the law-breaking. Because the government does indeed regularly break the law, it’s important to know that the government is not your friend.

“The government will lie, cheat, and steal in order to enforce its own laws. And the courts continually give law enforcement a free pass to engage in these practices.” As you will see in the cases that follow, the government violates the very rights, liberties and personal freedoms guaranteed to us by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights on a regular basis.
