When you are experiencing a blockage to one or more of your seven main chakras, it can come out in a variety of different physical and mental ailments. Headaches, pain, anxiety, and many more issues can be attributed to chakra blockages. Through the study of the chakra system, you can alleviate yourself from these burdens.

The most advantageous way to clear blockages in your chakra system is to meditate. Meditation can be excellent in a variety of different ways, and using it to heal your chakras is one of the best ways to use it. Many people already practice meditation on a daily basis. If you are not already doing so, you should start.

When you first start to meditate, it can seem intimidating. Clearing your mind is not always an easy thing to do. This is especially true if you have a life that is full of chaos paired with ailments that nag at you on a daily basis.

When you struggle with meditation, looking toward guided meditations can really help. Guided meditation can help put you on the right path to ensure you get the outcome you are looking for. It can help you find a place to start. In turn, you can find the healing you need to make your life happier, healthier, and better connected to yourself, the universe, and the people around you.

Chapter 1: The Root Chakra

Meditation Script to Clear Blockages in Your Root Chakra:

The root chakra is at the base of your spine and helps ground you to the earth. Providing you with the initial gateway to universal enlightenment and connection. The chakras can teach us on a variety of levels.

Burning incense, like cedar, can help empower you during meditation and can make reaching a truly relaxed state a bit easier.

Essential oils like clove, sandalwood, juniper, or vetiver are also excellent additions to help ground yourself and heal through the balancing of your root chakra.

You can surround yourself with a variety of different crystals, stones, and gems to enhance the positive energy that will soon be flowing to your root chakra. Gathering and using Red Jasper, hematite, Smoky Quartz, Garnet, and/or Black Onyx can make grounding and balance much easier.

When you are looking for insight, healing, or peace in your life, find balance with the chakra system. The beginning of this energy path is at the root chakra or the Muladhara Chakra.

Roots do not hold us back; they do not stop us; they support us as we grow as large as possible in knowledge and in life. When our hands can reach the heavens, so must our feet or roots reach down to hell. Stay grounded and maintain a strong connection with the Earth. It will ensure that you can grow in every direction.

We are all part of the Earth. We are the mountains, sand, and pieces of all the other parts that make our planet. We are the strongest of the foundations. Our bodies, health, and space need to be cared for. No matter the level of grandeur you have, make sure to tend to what is yours and what is precious.

When trying to find your true self, you need to find grounding.

When you can position yourself in nature, you will have the best success in clearing root chakra blockages.

You should position yourself so that you are on the edge of a blanket, pillow, cushion, or yoga mat. Palms should be on the top of your thighs.

Once you are in this position, rock yourself slightly backward. You should be sitting on your tailbone. This is the location of your root chakra and will give you a deeper connection as we move forward with this meditation.

Allow your eyes to become heavy and close.

Focus on your breathing. You should be breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth. By slowing and focusing on your breathing, you will start to feel the connection of your root chakra to the healing energies of the earth. Continue this pattern of slow breathing to deepen the connection.

Deep red is the color associated with your root chakra. See a ball of deep red light emanating near your tailbone. The roots of your beliefs are held here. Your stability, safety, and support are within your root chakra.

We need to ask ourselves, “Do we have the right to be here and be present in the world around us?” This answer will rise out of your root chakra. Focus on your breathing and on this question.

Now, we are going to move into a Yoga position. The mountain pose will be used. To do this, your big toes should be touching; heels should be slightly apart. Lift your toes, spread them, then place them back down. Your weight should be evenly distributed. Some may want to rock to accomplish this.

Engage your thigh muscles and rotate your knees slightly inward.

Bring your pelvis in and tuck your tailbone in. The curve of your back should feel natural. When you tuck in your tailbone, your pelvis and ab muscles will tighten as they need to.

Moving up your body, find relaxation for your shoulders. Open your chest and draw your shoulders down. This should feel natural; you should not over-inflate your chest.

Your arms should be held out a bit from your sides so that the muscles are slightly engaged. Your fingers should be splayed open, and palms should be facing the tops of your thighs. If it is more comfortable to have your palms facing out, this is also acceptable.

The floor and your chin should be parallel. Look forward and try for your shoulders, ears, ankles, and hips to be in line.

Now that we have held this position for a few moments, it is time to sit down. Relax and massage the bottoms of your feet (roughly 30 seconds each).

Stand back up and put yourself in the mountain pose. See yourself standing in the fertile soil of the earth. Full of nourishment and knowledge. Feel it support you and help you grow. Allow yourself to feel the grounding sensation between your feet and the Earth.

Gently close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Focus on your connection to the world around you. Once you have found an excellent connection, it is time to ask ourselves some questions.

As you continue to ground yourself, ask, “How do you relate to yourself and your body? How does it feel to be inside of yourself?” allow the answers to present themselves as you deepen your connection to the earth and positive energy moves to your root chakra.

After seeing or feeling these answers, we need to then ask, “ Is the life we are living safe? Does it contain all of our actual needs?” Here again, the answers will present themselves to you. They will rise to your awareness and become quite clear.

Now, open your eyes and sit back down on your yoga mat, cushion, pillow, or blanket.

Relax your body and place your hands on your thighs.

Rock your body back so that your tailbone is in contact with the earth.

Visualize the new and reenergized red energy that is swirling around the area of your root chakra.

Close your eyes and focus your attention on the ill physical effects that you are noticing from your root chakra imbalance. This could be lethargy, bowel or bladder elimination problems, lower back pain, cramps, or even eating disorders.

Envision the clean and positive energy of your root chakra, washing away the negative effects of these ailments. See your body healing and recovering.

By visualizing the blockage clearing and the positive energy you have gained helping to heal your suffering, you will be well on your way to feeling healthier and happier.

Continue to focus on your breathing and ensure it is going in through your nose and out through your mouth. When breathing out, see your troubles escaping and moving on from your life

Ensure you are maintaining focus on the healing powers of the energy within your root chakra. Allow it to cleanse you of the burdens of your life.

The physical, mental, and emotional manifestations of root chakra blockages are being washed away from you. They are not welcome in your life or in your space.

From here, shift your thoughts to what your life will be like without these burdens. See, feel, smell, and hear how it will be when you are no longer suffering from a blockage. Breathe these thoughts in and negative thoughts out.

Now, we will slowly open our eyes. Stand up and roll your shoulders to let go of any tension that maybe there. Rotate the hips to do the same. Shake each leg out.

This meditation is one that can be used frequently. Some people even focus on it daily. By practicing clearing blockages to your root chakra, you can find a better balance between you, your life, the universe, and the Earth.

Now that you have asked yourself and worked through some important questions, it is important that you maintain some focus on them. Spend a few minutes every day thinking of these questions and being grateful for the life that you have.

If you find that you are burdened with the ailments or feelings that you had before practicing this meditation, it is likely time that you do it again. Remember that grounding is very important, and while you may not have to do it every day, it is likely that you will need to do it frequently.

Chapter 2: The Sacral Chakra

Meditation Script to Clear Blockages of Your Sacral Chakra:

The second of our chakra energy centers is the Sacral Chakra or Svadhisthana. It is the ruler of our emotions, creativity, and sensuality.

Allowing us to go with the flow and be flexible, this chakra is associated with water. It allows us to experience pleasure and is located a few inches below the bellybutton on our back.

There are a variety of stones, crystals, and gems that can add to the positive energy flow that will be required to clear blockages of the sacral chakra. Surrounding yourself with Orange Calcite, Carnelian, Amber, or Tiger’s eye can be beneficial in achieving the positive outcome and energy flow that you are looking for.
