From the Author
As a child, I loved the world of Art as well as interested to know the facts behind that special art form. I used to think that I would write books on art when I would be grown up.
After being grown up, I was busy in my study and then with my family. But on a fine morning on the day of Diwali, when I was decorating my house with rangoli, I remembered the dream about the book of my childhood. Then I started the “Wow Rangoli”

I would like to thank my Parents, my sisters, my uncle, my niece and my nephew for unconditional support, my brother Narayan, artist and sculptor, for encouraging to enter the beautiful world of art, my teacher Madhu da, my friend Sharmistha for guiding me, my students those who come to my drawing class and have faith on me, my niece Gauri for her support, and my husband, Pradeep, who has been continuously cheering me to make my hidden dreams come alive .

What is Rangoli?
Rangoli is an Indian art form which is created on the floor in living rooms or courtyards. Design portrayal may differ as they reflect traditions, occasions, and practices that are exclusive to each area. The rationale of rangoli is beautification, and it is thought to bring good fortune.
