Dr. Anna Rostomyan born in 1985 is an Assistant Professor of English, Communications Consultant, Researcher, Author, Coach and Reviewer at Sage Publishing, as well as Editorial Board Member at “Academic Star Publishing Company”. Her PhD work, which she defended back in 2013 in tight collaboration with the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, Department of Philosophy and Interfaculty Institute for Central and Eastern Europe, being awarded an ASCN PhD research grant, and Yerevan State University, English Philology Department and Chair of English for Cross-cultural communication, was devoted to the linguo-cognitive, pragmatic, neurolinguistic, sociolinguistic and psycholinguistic analysis of the verbal and non-verbal expressions of emotions in English fiction and films.
While interested in a whole range of disciplines as Affective Pragmatics, Psycholinguistics, Sociolinguistics, Neurolinguistics, Cognitive Linguistics, Communication Studies, and Discourse Analysis, her current research and studies are mainly focused on Emotional Intelligence, Neuroeconomics, Neuroleadership, Personal Branding, Emotional Marketing, Business Communication Management, etc.
Apart from academia, she also worked with successful communication and recruitment strategies for such companies as “Porsche Center Yerevan”, “ArmenOil”, and “Armeconombank” OJSC.
This book is a series of her previous book on business communication management and is particularly meant for the Business world professionals and leaders.

Since the early ages people have been concerned with the problem of leadership and what is needed to become a good leader.
Many outstanding philosophers dedicated their surveys and public speeches on the issue of successfully leading people, since it is one of the greatest challenges, and, we can also say, gift of all.
Leadership is, in essence, the art of motivating a group of people to act toward achieving a certain common goal. In a business setting, this can mean directing workers and colleagues with a specific strategy to meet the company’s needs.
Leadership particularly captures the essentials of being able and prepared to inspire others: and here inspiration includes both yourself and your team members, co-workers and employees.
A leader actually inspires others to act while simultaneously directing the way they act. He or she is an inspiration for everybody around and has to lighten the way, which they pursue.
A leader should, hence, be the guide and the lighthouse, lightening and showing the way to the others.
In the recent years, leadership has a bit changed its former scope; thus, paying much more attention to the people’s needs and demands, their desires and longings, feelings and emotions.
The main scope of the leaders has become their human resources, as they are no longer considered to be merely working machines, but the most significant proportion in achieving a certain objective or a specific goal.
Hence, the human factor gains prominence in leading people, which should be the main objective of any leader, who wants to have better results.
Truly, in case leaders pay much more attention to the needs of their people, they will stand a better chance of achieving their goals and inspiring others to become better in whatever road they pursue and whatever they do.
The Essence of Leadership
Leadership is an art and it is a skill to be mastered, which can be done only by the bravest.
It is also a decision to be made, which has to be followed.
Making the decision to be a leader is a tough one, but it is also the greatest freedom you could ever give yourself in this life, and who doesn’t like freedom and to be free in taking decisive steps towards a certain goal for a better future?
Leadership is the gift that opens up so many new doors and opportunities for you and also to those who depend on you.
Leadership gives you the opportunity to own any fear, uncertainty and self-doubt, but much more importantly, it gives you the responsibility to remove that very fear from the others.
It takes you real courage to overcome your fear of failure, fear of abandoning your comfort zone and of feeling uncomfortable and to decide on taking responsibility for the others involved.
Hence, as a fearless leader you will have fulfilling days, confusing days, overwhelming days and down-right exhilaratingly tough days. But that’s what makes true leaders special; they overcome their fear and make the decision to lead and to succeed.
When dealing with people, a leader has to remember the human nature of the latters. This human element is the part that can be magical about being a fearless leader, who dares taking responsibility and the gear in his very own hands. Just imagine walking into a dark room with no light, the leader should be the light. That’s being a fearless leader, and fearless leaders lean-in to their people’s thoughts, beliefs, desires, feelings and emotions. This also involves multitasking on the human level, taking into consideration a number of different aspects and factors.
To conclude with, becoming a strong and fearless leader is a lifelong pursuit, and each day serves as a new lesson and teaching moment preparing us for greater and greater opportunities in life and as you are presented with these new opportunities and faced with daily problems, think of the strength and faith you are building and how much more prepared you will be for the next even bigger step and greater opportunity.
That is one of the blessings of fearless leadership, each challenge and opportunity makes us stronger for the next one, if we embrace it, if we dedicate ourselves to the objective and if we commit ourselves to be a truly courageous, fearless leader to rise up and lead in your family, your community, and, last but not least, at your company. Embrace it. Love it. Challenge yourself. Become better. Stay hungry and focused. Be a leader. Be successful.
