From Prison to Palace is a prophetic message for anyone intending to change levels in life. It is written to give you understanding in as far as God’s divine agenda is concerned for your life. In this book, George reveals the prophetic journey of Joseph from the pit to the palace as it relates to your own life and destiny. The young man (Joseph) had a dream that landed him in prison. However, the God of miracles turned his situation around to his advantage. He eventually became the second most important person in the land of Egypt. What an honour! That was a divine switch and enablement. That promotion had no scientific calculation. It was a divine orchestration of God’s favour and power at work.

God once said to me, “Go! I’m sending you like I sent Moses, my prophet, to liberate my people from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching and teaching of the Word of Faith. Raise the foundations of many generations, prophesy over them and school them into supernatural knowledge, wisdom, and exploits; impart into them my power and wisdom; release them into their glorious and unparalleled destinies.”

Introduction

Life is not a race, but an enablement from God Jehovah. Hence, when you see yourself alive and strong today, just know that God Has enabled you. People don’t understand that all the good things that happen in our lives are because of God’s grace at work. Each time you remove God’s grace from your life, disgrace comes in and becomes your portion. However, my prayer is that you and I are going to give God all the glory at all times for His mercy and grace in Christ Jesus.

John 1:15-17

John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ ” And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 10:29

Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?

All we need today in order to make it in life is God’s divine grace. Nothing else! Hence, the beauty of every person is embedded in the grace of God at work in his or/her life. Once again, life is a divine privilege and we can’t take it for granted at all! There are thousands of people out there who are far better than us, yet are struggling in life. Why? That is because success is not to the strong, but God’s grace brings it into our lives.

Thus, it is foolishness to praise your efforts more than you give glory and honour to God. I believe God is raising a people in this generation that will ascribe glory, honour, and power to Him alone. In the same way, Apostle Paul knew that whatever he became in life and ministry was a function of God’s grace at work in his life. He had nothing to boast about but the grace of God! Hence, the impact he wrought in ministry.

1 Corinthians 15:10

For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. Therefore, whether it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.

The grace of God is divine, irreplaceable, powerful, and invincible. Just remember, at all times, to thank God for His grace and mercy. Besides, it is such a powerful thing to even start your day by giving thanks to God for His grace and mercy in Christ Jesus. I also believe it is the highest order or form of wisdom in Christ Jesus. People who never acknowledge God’s grace or mercy end up as failures in life—they get incapacitated.

Hence, I’m glad to say, in this book, we are going to look at the journey of Joseph and many other things as it relates to our lives and destinies. The young man, Joseph, had a dream that landed him in the pit, and then from the pit into prison and then from prison to the throne or palace. That was a divine switch, orchestrated by the grace and love of God. I pray it will be your time to experience God’s abundant mercy and grace in your own life.

Look, the promotion or enlargement that Joseph experienced in Egypt has no scientific calculation or comprehension until now. Instead, it was God’s own mercy and grace at work in the life of Joseph. I believe it is never too late for you to experience God’s divine favour and promotion! Just keep your faith on fire for Jesus. All that happened for Joseph in Egypt was a divine orchestration of God’s divine agenda. Nothing else!

Genesis 41:38-39

And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?” Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you. 40 You shall be [a]over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.” And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”

May God locate you in Jesus name!!

CHAPTER 1

From Nothing to Something

Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age. Also he made him a tunic of many colors. But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peaceably to him. Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more.

(Genesis 37:3-5)

Dreams vs Envy

Genesis 37:9-11

Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me. “So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?” And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind.

The Bible in Genesis 37:9a quotes, “Then he dreamed still another dream.” Joseph got hated and disliked by his brothers because of the dream God gave him. Hence, today, all dream and vision carriers will always get hated by society or people. Of course, the devil is not happy with your dreams, visions, or purpose in life. He will use anyone or anything to stop your God-ordained purpose in Christ Jesus. Besides, not everyone is interested in your God ordained dreams—just be careful!! We live in a wicked world!

1 John 5:19 (KJV)

And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

What is happening today in society is gross wickedness! Instead of people celebrating your efforts, dreams or visions, they will get offended. Of course, some become your competitors with a vision or goal to bring you down. God forbid! Joseph’s brothers got offended after he shared with them yet another dream—they became his competitors instead of complimenters. I pray that won’t be your portion in Jesus’ name henceforth!

Many times, people will act fun towards you when they discover great things God is doing in your life. They will act funny, as if you have done or said anything wrong to them. Yes, people will do anything just to discredit your name. Some will gather to discuss your success or achievements in discontentment. Well, do not get worried when people hate you for the sake of God’s goodness in your life. They did the same thing to Joseph in Egypt! With Joseph, it was even worse because it was his own blood brothers who hated him.

Genesis 29: 31-32

When the Lord saw that Leah was unloved, He opened her womb; but Rachel was barren. So Leah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Reuben; for she said, “The Lord has surely looked on my affliction. Now therefore, my husband will love me.”

When God saw that, people hated Leah in the above Scripture, because of her condition, He opened her womb. It is funny that people will hate you even if you have a serious issue you are dealing with in life. They will hate you, whether you are rich or poor, and they will also hate you, whether you are barren. God forbid! Look, it doesn’t matter what people will do against you as long as God is the one who goes before you — you are safe! Your mission should never be to please people or anyone, but only God!

When Joseph shared his dreams with his brothers, that was the beginning of hatred and envy towards him. Not every one today will celebrate your dreams or achievements. Hence, don’t share your dreams to wrong people, otherwise they will stand against you — it is all about envy and jealousy! However, no matter what happens, no one can stop a dreamer! Dreamers and vision carriers are unstoppable and indomitable by the grace of God.

People may conspire against you, but they can’t stop you. They may plan to see you fall or fail, but it won’t work! I have seen many people look at me as if I have had a problem or an argument with them. Why? They are not comfortable with my success and blessings in Christ Jesus. They feel humiliated, ashamed and defeated because of my success, visions, dreams and favour at work in my life from the God of Heaven and earth.

Proverbs 10:21-22

The lips of the righteous feed many, But fools die for lack of wisdom. The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.

You will get surprised to know how many people are against you today for no justifiable reason. Very few people want to see you move forward in life—from prison to your palace. Some people would rather you were at the same level in life until Jesus comes back. Your changing of levels in Christ Jesus has become an insult to them. They can’t stand it—It is too much for them. I have good news for you about all those who gather against you for no reason—they may gather against you, but it won’t work, in Jesus’ name.

Isaiah 54:15-17

Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me.Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake. “Behold, I have created the blacksmithWho blows the coals in the fire,Who brings forth an instrument for his work; And I have created the spoiler to destroy. No weapon formed against you shall prosper,And every tongue which rises against you in judgmentYou shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,And their righteousness is from Me,”Says the Lord.

You Need a Dream from God

Joel 2:28

And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.

Dreams and visions are vital in fulfilling your destiny here on earth. However, if you dream nothing, you are not living—there is something wrong with you. It takes dreams to move forward in life. The only weapon Joseph had in his hand was the dream that God gave him. There is nothing wrong with being a dreamer—it is one sign you are alive to divine purpose. In fact, Joseph had many dreams in his life, and kept on dreaming his way to greatness, even when he was in prison.

People void of dreams waste lots of time in life. I believe you can’t be an excellent manager or steward of time if you don’t have a dream or vision. I pray God gives you one today! Having a dream gives you a purpose for living. It becomes the driving force behind your life and destiny in Christ Jesus. I believe dreams are an integral part of God’s divine agenda for your life today and tomorrow. Remember! God is the only dream giver!

Acts 2:17

‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.
