God once said to me, “Go! I’m sending you like I sent Moses, my prophet, to liberate my people from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching and teaching of the Word of Faith. Raise the foundations of many generations, prophesy over them and school them into supernatural knowledge, understanding, wisdom and exploits; impart into them my power and wisdom; release them into their glorious and unparalleled destinies.”

Introduction

Revival is not a speech or philosophical idea, but the move of God orchestrated by the power of God’s Word. Apart from that, it is also the supernatural move of God where people get transformed, healed, set free, and awakened to spiritual truth. In fact, we already know from the Scriptures that God moves, revives, and works by His Word.

Psalm 85:6-7

Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy, Lord, And grant us Your salvation.

And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord was working with them and confirming the word by the signs that followed.

God’s Word is what controls the actions of God. Thus, the only primary way to be full of God is to be full of His Word—nothing else! Wherever God’s Word is, God is. I have great regard for the Word of God. The value you place on God’s Word determines what becomes of your life and destiny in Christ Jesus. Every greatness in the Kingdom of God is at the root of God’s Word.

One thing I know is that you can’t attract God’s divine presence if your regard for God’s Word is zero. The Word of God is what engineers and activates the move of God in our lives. Besides, there is no way you can operate in God’s divine wisdom if you are empty of His Word. God’s Word is an all-around winning ticket! It is the only reliable gateway to supernatural victory in Christ Jesus. It is efficacious, perfect and powerful! You will never go wrong putting God’s Word first in your life. You need it all the days of your life.

2 Timothy 3:14-16

But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

Many years ago, in 2003, I got invited to pray for one lady with a surgical wound. She had been bedridden for a few days. In fact, she asked me to come and lay hands upon her for healing. Well, before I left my house, I had to enquire from God what I was supposed to do concerning the entire situation. Look, if God has not led you to do anything, then don’t! Asking God for divine direction or guidance in your life is very important. Many people today, even Christians, just do things without God’s divine leading. God forbid!

If you don’t consider God in anything you set up your mind and heart to do, just know that you won’t achieve anything in this world. Your faith or zeal cannot override God’s divine instructions. In fact, our faith must always submit to God’s guidance! Besides, no matter our perspectives or opinions, success either in life or ministry depends upon God’s Word, nothing else. Hence, don’t do things just because everyone is doing them or because they look good, but because God has commanded you to do them.

Lamentations 3:37

Who is he who speaks and it comes to pass, When the Lord has not commanded it?

Now, coming back to the woman with the surgical wound. Well, when I arrived at her place, the Holy Spirit led me to preach the Word of God by reading the Scriptures to her. Then, as soon as I did that, something unusual happened to her. She got healed immediately and jumped out of her bed with strength. Glory be to God forevermore!! The Word of God is the “Balm of Gilead.” It contains healing and medicinal virtues that set the captives free. Beloved, it was God’s Word that commanded her healing.

Until now, God’s Word has incredible power to heal the lives of people. Hence, when you value it above all things, it will put you in command over the affairs of life. You become a voice to be reckoned with in your city or nation. Then, for those who want to experience God’s fullness, God’s Word is the way to go! It will always give you a place in the school of power, dominion, favour and honour. Yes, when it is at work in your life, you become a resilient and overcoming Christian in Christ Jesus.

In this book, we are going to have a close look at the power embedded in God’s Word and how it can transform your entire life and destiny. The only thing you need to do is to value it above everything else there is. People who treat God’s Word with levity don’t excel or go far in life. To be a wordless Christian is not safe! You instead become the devil’s food or playground. I pray you will make God’s Word your number one desire or priority in Christ Jesus. God’s Word will always give you life — life without measure!!

Chapter 1

The Word of God

John 1:1-3

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

The Existence of Gods’ Word

Psalm 119:88-90

Revive me according to Your lovingkindness, So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth. Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven. Your faithfulness endures to all generations; You established the earth, and it abides.

God, in His infinite wisdom, has forever settled and established His Word in Heaven. It does not need any adjustments or additions. It is perfect, complete and efficacious to those who believe it. The Word of God is a mystery and progressively revelational, which means it keeps on revealing the existence of God from glory to glory. Besides, it is not the Word of man and that alone makes it sophisticated, unique and precious. Instead, it is the Word of an invisible God who dwells in unapproachable light, glory, and power.

1 Timothy 6:16

Who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.

No matter what your theory is today, the Word of God is eternal, just like God is! It began when God began. Why? That is because it was with God, and it was God from the very beginning of time. Without a doubt, it is unstoppable and ever-powerful — it does not know any bounds. The same Word of God is immutable! All things will pass away, but it endures forever from generation to generation. Hence, putting trust in it is divine wisdom at work in your life at its highest level. Jesus’ Words are the very Word of God.

Matthew 24:34-35

Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

If only we can understand the mysterious existence of God’s Word, our lives won’t be a fight, but a flight. It won’t be a negative, but a positive. It won’t even be a liability, but an asset in Christ Jesus. Allowing God’s Word to influence your life in every way will change your position in life. You will become a voice of God to your generation. When God’s Word enters your life and dwells richly in you, it brings you closer to God. You come to a place where you can discern the perfect will of God for your life to the fullest capacity.

John 1:1-5

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Many people have desired to become spiritual by attending every prophetic conference in their city, but nothing seems to work. They are now wondering, “What next?” I believe there is nothing wrong with attending spiritual meetings or conferences. We definitely need them in every way as enabled by the Holy Spirit. However, the primary way to become spiritual is by engaging God’s Word in your life.

I also believe no one will ever become spiritual because they attend church services. No! Instead, it takes the entrance of God’s Word into your life to grow your spiritual life. Once God’s Word takes over your life, it will renew your mind for spiritual empowerment and transformation. Your mind has to be renewed, deprogrammed, and re-programmed with God’s Word for spiritual growth to happen in your life. Nothing more and nothing less!

Romans 12:1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Now, how can you renew, de-program, and reprogram your mind? Well, the only Bible way I know is by meditating upon God’s Word. When your mind is in line with the Word of God, it will affect your entire spiritual system. You will experience spiritual growth, empowerment, transformation, and restoration. Sadly, many people, including Christians, are ignorant of the truth of God’s Word. Beloved, the power of God’s Word is in pondering upon it! If only you can do that, your life won’t be the same.

What does mind renewal mean? It is the deprogramming of your mind from worldly patterns of thinking and then reprogramming it with God’s Word. You need the Word of God in your mind to live a healthier spiritual life. Each time you deprive your spirit or mind of God’s Word, you starve your entire spiritual system. Then, that in most cases will lead to spiritual deficiency, breakdown, and corruption. There are many Christians today struggling to walk in supernatural dominion because of their unrenewed minds.

Ephesians 4:21-24

If indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Renewing the spirit of your mind is crucial to your spiritual well-being. In fact, that is where the journey of spiritual transformation starts from. Beloved, spiritual transformation is a place where you grow and mature to become more like Christ Jesus. However, if you don’t want to undergo transformation and empowerment, there is nothing the Holy Spirit can do about it. Why? That is because the Holy Spirit can only work with your willingness. Nothing else! He will never force you to become what you don’t want in life.
