God once said to me, “Go! I’m sending you like I sent Moses, my prophet, to liberate my people from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching and teaching of the word of faith. Raise the foundations of many generations, prophesy over them and school them into supernatural knowledge, wisdom and exploits; impart into them my power and wisdom; release them into their glorious and unparalleled destinies.”

Introduction

I believe there is always a reason people walk in fear today in this world. That has nothing to do with our philosophical, psychological or theological ideas but with the reality of life. One morning, I was at home, when I suddenly received a phone call from one of my friends. The first thing he mentioned to me was that he lost his job. It was such a terrible, unbearable, and disheartening moment for him and his entire family. God forbid!

Saints, it was a tough season for him and his entire family. Could you imagine losing your job when you have a family to take care of? The devil is a liar! Losing his job was humbling, disturbing, destroying, distorting, and faith-draining. Besides, he had a house mortgage of thousands of dollars to pay every month. Now, when he reached out to me, the only thing at my disposal was the Word of God. Sad to say, many people today, even Christians, have opened their minds and lives to fear because of negative news.

What you have to understand is that fear is sneaky and a snare. Once given room, it will sneak into your life with no announcement. Fear of any kind will always bring you into spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, and financial bondage. For example, the fear of man, fear of loss, fear of shame, fear of failure, fear of disappointment, and fear of death. Then, also the fear of sickness and disease, fear of poverty, fear of divorce, fear of discrimination, fear of losing your job and so on and so forth. Fear is devastating!

I believe the mission of fear here on earth is to deprive you of God’s joy and liberty in Christ Jesus. One thing you have to know is that fear is a demonic orchestration of the devil in order to stop your life from marching forward. If you don’t put fear to a stop, it will eventually stop your life and destiny in no time. I have had so many opportunities in my life to walk in fear, but I overcame it with the power of the Word of God. Friends, God’s Word is the only answer to walking in dominion over the spirit of fear. Nothing else!

Proverbs 29:25 (KJV)

The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.

In this book, I will share with you unstoppable ways to overcome fear in your own life. For your own information, if you tolerate fear, it will stop your destiny from marching forward. Fear is a spirit and its mission is to stop your life and destiny. Unless you deal with fear once and for all, it will always limit your life. However, fear has no right or power to dominate you as a child of God—Jesus has given us power to live above it.

Now, according to the Bible commentaries and scholars, the phrase “do not fear” is recorded over 300 times in the Bible. Then arguably recorded 365 times. What does that mean? Well, it is to encourage us to not fear at least every day of each year. I believe it is not in God’s divine agenda for you and me to be tormented by fear. No! Christ Jesus has already redeemed us from fear so much that we can reign with Him in glory and power once again.

Deuteronomy 20:1-4

When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt. So it shall be, when you are on the verge of battle, that the priest shall approach and speak to the people. And he shall say to them, ‘Hear, O Israel: Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies. Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them; for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’

The phrases “Fear not” and “Do not be afraid” have always been God’s answer to His children walking in fear. My prayer is that the devil will not use fear to stop you from fulfilling your destiny in Christ Jesus. Fear and God can’t co-exist at all (Psalm 23:1-7). In the same way, fear and faith can’t co-exist—they are not related in any way — either here on earth or in Heaven. Keep fear away from your environment, in Jesus’ name!

If you are a born-again child of God, fear should never stand in your way. You have the authority to stop it from tormenting your life. It is sad to see Christians born of the Spirit of God walk in fear of everything. Fear of death, fear of loss, fear of miscarriage, fear of failure, and fear of getting sick. Well, you did not receive the spirit of this world for you to fear again, but the Spirit of the Almighty God—Jehovah Elohim!!

Romans 8:15-17

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba,Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

CHAPTER 1

Understanding the Origins of Fear

Genesis 1:26-27

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

When God created Adam and Eve, He put only one spirit in them—the dominion spirit! That is to show us today that God created you and me to walk in supernatural dominion. Adam and Eve were to rule over all the affairs of life, including everything that God had made. It was such a tremendous task and privilege that God awarded humankind. The dictionary synonyms for the word “dominion” or “rulership” include the following words:

Supremacy, ascendancy, dominance, superiority, mastery, pre-eminence, predominance, lordship, sovereignty, authority, power, regency and more...

All the words mentioned above mean only one thing—dominion! The spirit of dominion in Adam gave him dominance and authority over the fish of the sea, the fowls of the air, the cattle in the field and over every creeping thing upon the face of the earth (Gen 1:26). Adam was in charge of all that God had made and he didn’t have to work for a wage, rather it all came as a wonderful package of creation. God lavished on him everything he needed for life and godliness.

Now, why do you think God gave man dominion? Well, God is deliberate with His Word and actions! And whatever He does has a divine purpose. Hence, lavishing Adam or man with nothing but the spirit of dominion was not accidental or a mistake. No! It was to let Adam and Eve know that bondage, fear, stagnation, defeat and failure were not on His agenda for humanity. God never created man to walk in fear at all.

Without a doubt, the environment in which God put Adam was secure and glorious. From the very beginning of time, God has never taken pleasure in our failures, defeat, fears, and shortcomings. Hence, He created us as fearless entities, even in Christ Jesus. The dominion that we carry today is not just for a public show or talk. Instead, it is for the establishment of our glorious destinies in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

Hebrews 10:35-39

Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have to endure, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: “For yet a little while, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who draw back to perdition but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

I remember many years ago, fear wanted to have a grip on my life. It was a time when I lost some of my family members to terrible diseases—they died within a short time. It was terrible, unbearable, heartbreaking, and disheartening for me. In fact, I unknowingly opened a door to fear of the “unknown.” Back then, I was just a young Christian with little knowledge about faith and the believer’s authority.

Then, as time went on, I laid hold of unstoppable revelations that gave me dominance, supremacy, authority, mastery, and dominion
