Chapter 1: Introduction

MindHub is a system designed to prepare you to learn how to identify what is important and the means for achieving goals based on a basic profiling. You might be surprised to see how your own and others’ motivations can vary greatly, even when following similar objectives in life. In order to mitigate the risks involved in communication with others, you should first learn how to acknowledge their perspectives, some of which might strongly confront your own values. We all hold different psychological characteristics and multiform objectives. It is vital to understand how to define the invariable side of your identity and learn how to shift the rest in a constructive way.

Often people prefer not to leave their comfort zones regardless of the prizes they might win if they venture outside them. Yet, that timidity might seriously damage their chances of fulfilling their objectives and goals. You see, most of the things people desire and are hoping for are related to other individuals and in order to accomplish your goals, you need to learn when is the best time to overtake, adapt, or eventually be flexible. In order to take the right direction, one might need comfort or encouragement. Knowing when to take dominant or inferior positions in the battles related to your life handling can clarify this need. Take efforts to shift your personality to a direction you will be comfortable with and ultimately proud of.

Chapter 2: MindHub Elements

To put in practice the MindHub Methodology for personality profiling and apply it to different people, you need to review certain parameters illustrating various life objectives and states of emotional relativity. The constellation forms show specific profile types. Prior to doing this, we begin the analysis by identifying: Drives – how people behave and Aims - what people strive for. Basically, the system will allow you to identify the push and pull forces of the people you would like to profile.

To put it simply, our Aims are our deepest desires while Drives are more focused on immediate goals. Some people are more pulled toward Desires which makes their Drives relatively more flexible, while others prioritize consistency in behavior and are more flexible about their ‘wishes.’

Aims

The MindHub Aims are divided into three major groups - one related to social circle, another concerning success and the last one is linked to beliefs. To start the analysis, you should select up to five of the nine of the Aims below and rank them from most to least important. Consider all the aims independently and simply make a list of those you prioritize. You can mark as important all components under each group or none of them, based on your preferences. As a suggestion, it is easier to identify your Aims by deselecting the ones that you don’t care too much about, so that you can deduce which options you can choose from.

List of priorities in life based on Aims:

-      Intimate - Priorities in life: Spouse / Intimate partner.

-      Family - Priorities in life: Family members (including own kids).

-      Friends - Priorities in life: Closest friends.

-      Finance - Priorities in life: Financial success.

-      Competence - Priorities in life: Expertise level.

-      Hierarchy - Priorities in life: Social rank or title (focus on social advancement).

-      Spirituality - Priorities in life: Personal growth (focus on personal transcendence, meaning, or religion).

-      Community - Priorities in life: Communal support or communal dedication.

-      Fun - Priorities in life: Novel experience.

IMPORTANT: Select the major Aims for the person you want to profile that expresses their goals and objectives. Generally, people are using their lower (instrumental) Aims to serve the highest (ultimate) Aim in some way. The highest (ultimate) Aim is always a topic of obsession for the person.

Rating the Aims is always tricky, sometimes it is hard to define them even for people who know themselves well. This is because all of the Aims are important, to a degree, for almost everyone. It’s usually harder to recognize the Aims of others rather than your own. Interestingly enough, sometimes Aims might influence people’s Drives and, in other cases, strongly expressed Drives might stimulate a certain Aim and crank it up.

Drives

According to the MindHub Methodology, there are twelve motivators and they are positioned on the MindHub Circle. The Drives in a profile can be: Secondary, Primary or Extreme.

To have a better understanding of the MindHub Circle, imagine a clock-face consisting of twelve Drives, eight Outer (positioned on the MindHub Circle circumsphere) and four Inner (positioned within the MindHub Circle).

Outer Drives

The eight Outer Drives are positioned on the MindHub Circle as follows:
