Since we are in a time of upheaval, events keep occurring that give us something to think about. I try to see some of these tendencies from a different perspective. I will of course leave it up to you whether this also applies to your views, without wanting to influence them.

Foreword

Far be it from me to attack anyone here or to judge anyone. Rather, it is my view of things, as I interpret it below. It may well be that one or the other thinks that this would be a radical view of things. But sometimes it seems to me that you bury your head in the sand. Not reacting, will solve itself. I believe this thread runs through the entire body of writing. As I said, this is not paternalism of anyone, but my opinion on various things at home and abroad.

Climate activists are right to demonstrate?

If there is another traffic collapse in early morning traffic because various groups of climate activists are demonstrating, this is probably the only way to show something against global warming as well as for climate protection. Politicians around the world do not seem to be touching on this issue, and environmental disasters are not diminishing. If the rulers don't do anything about it, science as well as industry should be able to set things in motion. But there are also rulers who burn vast amounts of precious energy so that they can keep the price or want to put pressure on the West. I can’t really understand that anymore. Environmental disasters are becoming more severe and nothing is being done about them. How long do you want to wait? I can only agree with the most environmental activists when they take to the streets and demonstrate, because after all, we also have a certain responsibility for future generations.

Sabotage and its benefits

If you find out that sabotage attacks have been carried out on both pipelines, the question naturally arises as to who is responsible for this. But I think that the question is secondary, because it is much more that with such a leak the sea is now also contaminated. Now a huge amount of greenhouse gases is already being blown into the air by the belligerent state, and the pipelines have to be destroyed. It is not necessarily important to know who is responsible for such attacks, but rather to devote more attention to securing vulnerable infrastructure. After all, no matter who carries out such attacks, they are harming themselves the most, because almost no gas was coming out of these pipelines anyway.

Bitcoins and virtual currencies

Years ago, a new invention was declared innovative and, above all, forced, called "Bitcoins". Immediately, a lot of people jumped on it without thinking long about who benefits from it and how great the burden on the environment is. Because the creation of such virtual currencies consumes an enormous amount of electricity all over the globe. So where is the benefit for humanity? I do believe that some have benefited at the expense of the environment. The electricity that is consumed there could be used much better for the population instead of favoring only a few.

The asylum policy of the EU (EUROPEAN UNION ) has failed

When three representatives of Serbia, Hungary and Austria met yesterday to discuss refugee policy, this may have been done with good intentions. But it is also meant that the asylum policy of the EU (EUROPEAN UNION) has failed, which I can only agree with. The distribution of migrants within the Union has been discussed for years, but it is still not possible to reach an agreement. Taxpayers in the European Union are only allowed to support these people with their hard-earned money. Yesterday, when we think about more controls and more staff at the borders, I wonder how this can be done. We as Austria have tens of thousands of kilometres of borders with these states, where no one can make me know that they can be controlled. When will there finally be a rethink in the Union as far as support for such people is concerned? In addition, there is also senseless movement of the bureaucracy with asylum procedures and that for years. So far, the mood is still positive as far as migration in the EU (EUROPEAN UNION) is concerned, but for how long? I can imagine that if the population is doing badly as a result of such support, it will come to a rebellion. I hope that our politicians will be aware that such postponement of decisions will only lead to internal crises.

Iran and the Faith

How many times history has shown us that politics and faith cannot work in a state, but some people still believe in it. One should not necessarily look for culprits abroad, but rather check whether both efforts harmonize. If you then also use "moral guardians" to exercise certain dress codes, then that is completely incomprehensible to me. It has been proven time and again to this day that the separation between state and religion is a sensible one, but there are always people who believe that they can prevent it. We had already seen extreme scenarios, such as a "holy war" to impose such a religious state. But this attempt also failed. Perhaps there will be a rethink in the future, because then the international community would also refrain from sanctions, which would of course benefit the respective population. I just don't believe in it.

Complaint for abuse and no one responds

As early as 2013, a complaint of abuse of pupils in a school was filed with the competent authority and there was virtually no reaction. Yes, they probably looked into it at the time, but that's about it. Now there are more suspicious cases and the public prosecutor's office is discontinuing the investigations because, according to their statement, there is too little evidence. When I get into the minds of the victims, it is clear to me that they do not easily understand what happens to them in such attacks. But I do think that if the parents do not have access to the young people, there should be suitable places in our system that have to build up a basis of trust with these victims. But where are they? The damage that is done to young people remains with them for a lifetime. Is this necessary?
