Beschreibung

The ancient story of Nero's tyranny and the burning of Rome is here told from a fresh new perspective: a young Greek boy is captured into slavery to be a sex toy for the spoiled sons of the wealthy aristocrats and he is witnessing the madness and the destruction with his own eyes! History is only able to report the dry facts but is completely inapt to transport the feelings and emotions, which come with them: only Pierre d'Amour can do both of those tasks at once . . .

Caught by a Pirate

It was a beautiful day under an azure blue sky speckled with fluffy white feather clouds, the noisy seagulls were following us all the way from Piraeus and a pod of playful dolphins was jumping around the bow, begging for a fish. My father Aristos was standing at the helm of the sturdy little boat and was pointing all the landmarks out to me: the Island of Hydra, Cape Maleas, Cythera Island and Cape Tainaron - he was a happy man and we were sailing swiftly on the wind through the Sea of Crete towards Rome. Aristos was a well-educated man and had been offered a job by the ruling Caesar Nero, and he had thought it the best, that I was going with him to see something of the world - especially the golden capitol of Rome! He said, that he would send me to the best schools in the city and would buy me the best teachers, so I would be a sophisticated man of wisdom once myself: he wanted me to be like him when I had grown up!

I wasn't too sure about that because I had never felt very clever! From my friend Tartos I had learned, that Rome was a city ruled by debauchery and sexual slavery, that naked young boys were kept in the houses like furniture to be abused in any imaginable way - but he was possibly just trying to scare me, because he didn't want me to leave him! Of course: even Athens was a capitol full of homosexuality and decorated with statues of naked boys with oversized penises, but the citizen didn't enslave their younger lovers and were treating them well - at least Tartos had always cared for me in a very loving way! He had showered me with compliments about my beauty and given me expensive presents to make me look even more attractive: golden necklaces from Egypt and the finest togas from Phoenicia, which were so short, that they were hardly covering my bum and my genitals. Tartos said, that such was the newest fashion and he always kissed me before I could make a silly comment: he was definitely in love with me!

But in the end he wasn't that different from the Romans at all: whenever I was visiting him in his house he loved to keep me naked too - he said, that I was an inspiration, especially when my penis was erect! Then he was playing with me to give me pleasure until I was spilling my seed, which was the most joyful feeling on earth - then he wanted to introduce me to the way the gay people made love together, and he said, that this experience was equally arousing once I had lost my fear of the penetration! But in that regard I was still a bit of a virgin and always got scared whenever he was tickling my sphincter - but Tartos was a very patient lover and never scolded me for my inhibition, and I could understand his frustration perfectly well, to see me sail away before he had made love to me! But I was sure, that such a fine man would soon find another lover - he would probably begin to play with my younger brother as soon as I had disappeared out of town: little Janos had always been jealous of my relationship with Tartos!

In the blue Gulf of Messenia the friendly fishermen were waving their hands at us from afar and were shouting on top of their lungs - they probably were wishing us well on the traverse of the Ionian Sea to the Italian peninsula, which could be a risky adventure in such a small vessel if a storm were looming, but there was not a cloud in sight and under the southerly wind we made good speed! My father was waving back and wasn't worried about anything, old Giorgio, the deck hand was getting a bit restless though and began to scan the wide horizon with his spyglass - there were African and Phoenician pirates traveling this waters too: slavers and ivory traders with an enormous appetite for a freebie! Of course it would be extremely bad luck to run into one of their black ships and my father didn't believe into bad luck at all: he was a truly positive man and always looking forward, so it was a relief to have old Giorgio on the lookout - and if the wind was holding steady from the South we would make it to Tarentum by nightfall!

After we had rounded the Cape of Akritas the sea got a bit choppier and the Seagull began to dance, cute white foam caps were topping the waves and the brilliant sunlight was reflected in a million of blinding stars - we all drank sips of red wine from the goatskin to keep the stomach straight, and as much as I was loving adventures I suddenly felt quite uneasy on this bobbing nutshell out on the endless open waters! Aristos turned the tiller northwards to catch the full breeze with the triangular sail, he wanted to cross the vast expanse of rough sea as quick as possible to the other side and I was grateful for that - if we were to take on water and were to sink nobody would ever find us out here to save us! We passed the tiny Strofades Islands on the left after noon and then we suddenly got a tail: old Giorgio saw the black ship first and he warned his captain instantly about the sinister apparition - I was scared to bits: even with our best speed we would never be match in a race against a fully rigged galleon on a choppy ocean!
