Foreword to the new This text was born in 2009 as a practical study project on Warren Buffett's style of thinking and investment. Over the years I have received suggestions, indications and advice from many readers on how to improve its effectiveness, while maintaining the freshness and lightness of its contents.
In its current version, this guide can ideally be divided into three parts:
- The first presents a concise historical and cultural background regarding the rise of Warren Buffett and the culture in which his investment style was born and took shape;
- the second concerns some theoretical and practical indications on Buffett's thinking strategies and operational practice for the intelligent choice of a business or investment with a very good chance of success;
- the third is included in the appendix of this book and involves the reader in an edutainment activity, in which you will be asked to act in first person to put into practice what you will have learned through reading.
