Bhajana-kriya invites the reader on a transformative inner journey through the practice of devotion, meditation, and self-realization. Drawing from timeless teachings of bhakti-yoga, this book explores how daily spiritual discipline becomes a living expression of love for Kṛṣṇa. Through poetic reflections, practical insights, and authentic experiences from the path of devotion, Bhajana-kriya illuminates the stages of Kṛṣṇa Consciousness—from the first spark of faith to the deepening of surrender and inner peace. More than a philosophical text, this is a companion for the heart—a guide to cultivating mindfulness, humility, and joy in one's relationship with Kṛṣṇa. Whether you are a long-time practitioner or newly drawn to the spiritual path, Bhajana-kriya offers inspiration, structure, and encouragement for your own bhakti journey. A book for seekers who wish not only to understand devotion, but to live it.

kali-kāle dharma — kṛṣṇa-nāma-saṅkīrtana
“In this Age of Kali, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu has descended
to preach the religion of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Therefore the
chanting of the holy names of Lord Kṛṣṇa is the religious
principle for this age.” (CC Madhya-Līlā 11.98)

When will Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī Prabhupāda, who has
established within this material world the mission to fulfill
the desire of Lord Chaitanya, give me shelter under his
lotus feet?

hare kṛṣṇa hare kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa hare hare
hare rāma hare rāma rāma rāma hare hare
This is my honest request and invitation to get everyone on the path of bhakti. Before I joined the Hare Kṛṣṇa movement, I had no idea of all these terms, spiritual processes and or technicalities, but I had some faith in God and his messengers.
Even for someone who is materialistic, atheistic or a “you-only-live-once” person, it doesn't matter, because love is about happiness and bliss, isn't it? By the time I was 20, I had worked about twenty different jobs, traveled here and there, met people from so many paths, but never fully satisfied, I prayed inwardly. Sitting in nature, sometimes playing music, I was at the edge of belief. In these lonesome hours, feeling drained, frustrated and pressured by the common man’s environment, I sought an answer within the heart. So, I sat down just hearing the waves, the river, the wind and whatever people were advising me. Eventually, I started remembering the inner voice of wisdom, an innate potency of appreciation, compassion and kindness. Although, the outside would make me broken hearted and devastated, the inner potency overflowed all sorrow and eventually even the worst was washed away. With a simple prayer for love, peace and union I found my way back into churches, mosques, and even the Hare Kṛṣṇa temple. My meditation deepened and I was desperate for truth. At every corner I would search for answers, eventually receiving a book and good advice.
