Glimpses are pieces inspired through various experiences in life. Its pieces based on personal experience, imaginative stories or based on inspiration drawn from songs or literature I have read. Every person goes through love, life and a little darkness and expressing that can really help understand your own emotions.

I hope that whoever reads my work somehow relates to certain situations or feels the emotions portrayed in these pieces.

Lack of Sleep

All the masked feelings.

Lack of sleep makes me cry.

How much longer can I survive?

Why won’t I allow myself to drop into someone's arms, seeking help?

Is this pain something to be ashamed off?

Talking to my teddy bear, maybe he'd understand

Show my smile...Never let them know...

Be strong until I let go.

Afraid

I look at him... tears forming. Silent, Afraid my burning heart will cause me to utter hurtful words. Afraid he might see my wet eyes, see me weak. Afraid he might see how much I need him,

how much I want him to run back to me.

Fading Shadow

Blinded. It's bright, golden light sorching my eyes. Droplets forming on my skin as heavy breaths fill me in. I have to keep on moving. Afraid my shadow will fade into the darkness , like I faded into evil.

Happy

Oh, the sweet words he whispers are the melody of his heart, so truthful... so bare, makes me dance on air.

We stride hand in hand, never letting go. His chest is my abode, his breath is my intoxication. His fire lit smile fuels my heart with unknown desires.

My reflection resides in his eyes. And in mine, his handsome face glows.

Oh, he rescued me from my fears, gave me all I needed. He keeps me completely and utterly happy.
