In this book you will find a selection of different, recipes to escape the daily grind of ready meals and delivery service. As we all probably know, a home-cooked dish is something very special. It is a selection of different recipes for soups, main courses, salads and much more. I hope you enjoy trying them out and cooking them up. Enjoy your meal!

Soup of the day á la Mama

 

for 4 persons

 

Preparation time: 2 hrs. / cooking time: 2 hrs.

 

Ingredients:

 

¼ Soup chicken or 1 chicken leg, 1 small piece of soup meat, 2 sand bones, 1 stick of leek, 2 carrots, ¼ celery, 1 ½-2 l water, 2 tsp. salt, 1 cube of fat broth

 

Preparation

 

Wash the chicken, meat and bones and add salt to the water. Let it simmer for about an hour. Then add the carrots and celery. A quater of an hour later add the leek and the cube of fat broth. About 10 minutes before serving, add the soup noodles. Alternatively, pre-cooked rice can be added to the soup.

potato soup

 

for 4-6 persons

 

Preparation time: 20 min. / cooking time: 1 ½-2 hrs.

 

Ingredients:

 

300 g soup meat, sand bone, 1 kg potatoes, 2 carrots, 1 stick of leek, 1 onion, 150 - 200 g lean smoked bacon, 300 g ham sausage or per person 1 sausage, 1 ½ l water, 1 cube of fat broth

 

Preparation

 

Cook the soup meat and the bones in 1 litre of water for about a half of an hour.
