This book is a work of fiction and any resemblance to persons, living or dead, or places, events or locales is purely coincidental.

It is intended only for adults over the age of 18 and all characters are represented as 18 or over.

It was early morning when Angie decided to sit outside on her porch. She sipped on her cup of coffee as she watched the sun rise. She watched as the neighbours got ready for their day. It was times like this that Angie was glad she had never had kids. She couldn’t imagine giving up her free time to run around getting the children ready for school.

Now that she was newly divorced, Angie had come to appreciate moments like this even more. She had gotten so used to being a wife that she had hardly had time to be herself. All her plans had to involve her husband and all her decisions had to be made as a pair.

Though Angie had still not gotten used to the idea of being alone, she was starting to enjoy it. She had loved being married to James but she loved being single even more. It was very freeing. In fact, when the divorce had finally gone through, Angie couldn’t help but feel relieved.

It wasn’t that Angie had hated her marriage. However, she had been too young when she had gotten married. She had met James while they were still in high school and they had fallen madly in love with each other.

Once they had graduated, the two decided that they wanted to be together forever. James had proposed to her and they had gotten married despite their parents' protests. They had not been afraid to let them know that they were making a huge mistake. They even proposed that Angie and James finish college first before deciding if they really wanted to settle down. However, Angie and James had been so blinded by love that they couldn’t see anyone else’s point of view.
