Kevin made his way to the hotel reception, Lexie was still asleep in the room and that was the opportunity that he required to get away for a few minutes.
It wasn’t like she would care if she woke up and didn’t see him by her side, but he wanted to be there when she did.
Since the vacation started, Kevin had tried his best to impress her but everything he did seem to backfire in his face. Lexie was more adventurous and free spirited than he was, so it was a challenge for him to put something in order for them.
It didn’t help the situation, as the couple had decided to open up about rendezvous that week to the rest of their friends and as expected all went horrible.
The two had met through his ex-wife, and had known each other for a number of years before he made a move on her. Kevin made a move when the two were stuck with each other during quarantine and his ex-wife had declared divorce.
What started as something innocent turned into a situation that they couldn’t control and as a result, they decided to work on their relationship during the remainder of the quarantine period.
However, after her friends found out about their affair, most of them ex-communicated her from most events and social life. To them, she had committed a betrayal that couldn’t be forgiven and there was no way they could allow her near them.
