The government of King David flourished in every way because of the divine wisdom of God that was at work. It is a pacesetter, pathfinder, trailblazer, winner, and miracle worker. You can travel anywhere in this world, but you won’t find it. Why? That is because it has its source in God Almighty. Further, this wisdom can only be found in God’s children, especially those who walk in His fear. It is not a pearl of common wisdom, but extraordinary. You can’t buy it with your money or influence. Its worth or value is far above that of diamonds, silver, gold, and every precious stone. God’s wisdom is the principal tool for winning battles of life.

God once said to me, “Go! I’m sending you like I sent Moses, my prophet to liberate my people from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching and teaching of the Word of Faith. Raise the foundations of many generations, prophesy over them and school them into supernatural knowledge, wisdom, and exploits; impart into them my power and wisdom; release them into their glorious and unparalleled destinies.”

Introduction

Divine wisdom is the wisdom of God or the wisdom that God possesses. Everything we see today about creation in this world came forth from the divine wisdom of God. The wisdom of God is a maker and enhancer of people’s lives and destinies in Christ Jesus. Hence, God’s plan for His children is to see them walk in divine wisdom. Divine wisdom cannot operate in people who don’t know God, but only in those who are God’s children by the will of God. You and I can’t excel in life beyond the wisdom of God. Many women and men of God who made it in life in the Bible were custodians of the divine wisdom of God.

Psalm 104:24

O Lord, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions.

The kingdom of Israel flourished in the days of King David because of the wisdom of God that was at work in his life. Divine wisdom is a pacesetter, pathfinder, trailblazer, conqueror, and miracle worker. You can travel anywhere in this world. You won’t find it, for its source is in God Almighty. However, if you want it, all you need is to give your life to Jesus and walk in God’s fear. Divine wisdom is not common wisdom, but extraordinary. You can’t buy it with money or your fame. Whatever the case, this wisdom is real and not an assumption. It is profitable for direction and can flourish your life in Christ Jesus in no time.

No mountain can stand against it. Instead, it uproots mountains from the roots. Divine wisdom never fails, and it is unstoppable. It also determines where you end up in life, whether in Africa, Australia, Europe, Asia, and the USA. Besides, Jesus had the same wisdom in His life. It has no room for failure, defeat, or stagnation! It will always rescue people from all kinds of danger, wickedness, or evil set against them in this wicked world. Those who walk in divine wisdom will always yield extraordinary results in Christ Jesus. It is divine wisdom because it does not have its roots in the earthly realm, but it has its roots in the realms of God.

Matthew 13:53-56

Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these parables, that He departed from there. When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works?  Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?”

What we see in the above Scripture is divine wisdom at work—it is extraordinary! It commands divine attention from every side of life. Without a doubt, as children of God, we are called to walk in this wisdom. The moment Jesus comes into our lives as our Lord and Saviour, divine wisdom comes in as well. However, the wisdom of God can only grow and become impactful in us through our godly lifestyle. What is a godly lifestyle? It is a lifestyle of God’s fear, adoration, and reverence. When you and I grow to love, obey, and fear God, divine wisdom will equally grow. Hence, the Bible says in Proverbs 9:9-11:

Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; Teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For by me your days will be multiplied, And years of life will be added to you.

With divine wisdom at work, your life will scale heights of greatness in Christ Jesus. I believe all you need is to ask God for it by faith. It will prosper you without sweat—it is a winner in every battle of life.

Chapter One

What is Divine Wisdom?

Ephesians 3:10-12

To the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,  in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him. Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

Manifold Wisdom

Divine wisdom is the manifold wisdom of God. What does that mean? It means that it is diverse — it is of many kinds; miscellaneous and varied. Hence, once it is operable in your life, there is nothing you cannot achieve or do. We have seen the manifold wisdom of God in manifestation in the children of God. With this wisdom, you can scale heights of greatness in life without limitation. Divine wisdom is manifold! It can dissolve all arguments of life. One king in the Bible who operated in the manifold or divine wisdom of God was King Solomon. The same wisdom enlarged his kingdom and ushered him into realms of honour.

During the reign of King Solomon, two women presented a complicated situation to him. Resolving the situation demanded God’s divine wisdom. One of these women tragically caused the death of her child by accidentally sleeping on top of one baby at night. Unfortunately, one of them secretly placed the deceased child on her friend’s bed. Later on, they disagreed, each contending ownership of the baby. So, they came to King Solomon for help. Only divine wisdom—the manifold wisdom of God could dissolve that situation or predicament.

1Kings 3:22-25

Then the other woman said, “No! But the living one is my son, and the dead one is your son.” And the first woman said, “No! But the dead one is your son, and the living one is my son.” Thus they spoke before the king. And the king said, “The one says, ‘This is my son, who lives, and your son is the dead one’; and the other says, ‘No! But your son is the dead one, and my son is the living one.’ ” Then the king said, “Bring me a sword.” So they brought a sword before the king. And the king said, “Divide the living child in two, and give half to one, and half to the other.”

What you see in the above Scripture is divine wisdom at work! Hence, whatever has gone wrong in your life cannot stand the manifold wisdom of God at all. The wisdom that King Solomon used to end that dilemma came from God. No devil can stand God’s wisdom. Now, let’s look at what happened next!

1Kings 3:26-28

Then the woman whose son was living spoke to the king, for she yearned with compassion for her son; and she said, “O my lord, give her the living child, and by no means kill him!” But the other said, “Let him be neither mine nor yours, but divide him.” So the king answered and said, “Give the first woman the living child, and by no means kill him; she is his mother.” And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had rendered; and they feared the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to administer justice.

The divine wisdom of God is manifold, and no dispute can overcome it. When the entire land heard of the judgement of Solomon that came by divine wisdom, they feared the king. Why? That was because they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to administer justice. Hence, you and I need this wisdom today.

The Wisdom of God

Divine wisdom is the very wisdom of God, and it has no respect for failure or retrogression. When you see the works of God, it is the very wisdom of God at work. When the Red Sea opened before Israel, that was the wisdom of God. God’s wisdom is supernatural in its existence and operation. It will do exactly what God’s power can do. Hence, we can’t separate God’s power from His Wisdom. Where you see the wisdom of God, you will also find God’s power and vice versa. When the magicians in Egypt made the snakes, Moses also did the same. However, Moses’ snake ate theirs, which was God’s wisdom at work.

Exodus 7:8-12

Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, “When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, ‘Show a miracle for yourselves,’ then you shall say to Aaron, ‘Take your rod and cast it before Pharaoh, and let it become a serpent.’ ” So Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, just as the Lord commanded. And Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent. But Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers; so the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods. 

I pray as you tap into the wisdom of God, your life will experience the hand of God without measure. Divine wisdom is not just in thinking, but also in mighty works. The Bible mentions how Jesus, through the wisdom of God, did mighty works. Divine wisdom is also in the mighty works of the Almighty God.

Mark 6:1-3

Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him. And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him  were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom  is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands! Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him.

Divine wisdom is the key to winning every battle. No devil or demon can withstand God’s wisdom. Every servant of God who conquered nations did it through divine wisdom. Saints, divine wisdom, which is also the wisdom of God, is real. I have seen it operating in my life from level to level. The divine wisdom of God is more than just your thinking—it is God’s power in motion. For example, the strategy that God gave Jehoshaphat against His enemies was divine wisdom at work. God instructed Jehoshaphat what to do during the battle and the results were undeniable. Now, let us look at what the Scripture says about it!
