Beschreibung

Carolin was also sent into an obscure world of her dreams by the explosion of the VR radiation amplifier. She suddenly finds herself in a strange world full of aliens. She manages to escape in a spaceship and in the Saran system on the planet Siena she is captured at the 'singing stones' market and sold to the merchant Marak. He offers 'treasures' from all over the known and unknown universe. His artifacts are dusty things that he acquired from someone at some point and which now lie around in his store by the thousands. When one of these artifacts takes possession of her body, a destiny becomes apparent that intends to rewrite her fate.

Prologue

"Where are they? Tarik, where are you? Hell, why didn't you say anything about being back with Carolin?"

Zeno stormed the bridge of the KLONDIKE. And that should mean something, after all, his steel body could accelerate up to 80 kilometers per hour.

"Zeno, don't make an ass of yourself," Tarja called after him.

He didn't hear it anymore because the central bulkhead had already closed again.

"Jet'ha, where are you?"

Zeno was completely off his rocker. Had Tarik concealed from him that Carolin was on the KLONDIKE. How was that possible? After all, she had lived over 250 years ago in the early 21st century.

He trusted Connar with a lot, but this? He really needed to know more about the whole thing.

"Tarik, geez dude, where the hell are you?"

He had shouted through the control center. The KLONDIKE ship's brain seemed to have taken it as a request to provide information.

"Commander Connar as well as Carolin Connar are at the medo-station."

Tarja was just entering the control center when Zeno whizzed past her.

"Medo-station! Quick," she heard him say as he ran past, then he had already disappeared from her view.

When Zeno entered the infirmary, the first thing he saw was Jet'ha, the young Zisslies warrior.

He stood motionless in front of two antigrav couches, watching the diagnostic robot at work.

"What's the matter with you? Injured?"

Before Jet'ha could even answer, Zeno was already standing in front of Carolin's couch, looking into her pale face.

"No, not injured. It must be the VR rays to blame for her condition. I found her lying on the floor in the control room. Tarik wasn't wearing a radiation absorber and I couldn't see the ball-like device on Carolin either, although we were both issued such an absorber by Chron Bastion," he pointed to the radiation absorber on his suit belt.

"The explosion of the sleeper-building, right. It also affected the crew of Syeel's starship."

Zeno let his gaze wander over the two sleepers and looked toward the bulkhead where Tarja was just entering the room. "All clear. They're in dream sleep. The VR steels got them one last time!"

"Well then, everything is fine, and your excitement was for nothing! They'll probably wake up on their own as soon as the radiation loses its effect again."

The abduction

The body felt enveloped in a blissfully soft cloud. A warm and contented feeling of peace surrounded Carolin.

"A beautiful dream," she thought, feeling safe. Slowly she came to.

A wonderful new day was beginning. She stretched and stretched and slowly opened her eyes. The sun must have risen, as bright as it was in the room. But she could and wanted to sleep a little longer for once today.

It was Sunday, after all. Her hearing, still lulled by sleep, heard a strange, metallic noise that didn't seem to fit in her bedroom at all.

Suddenly the bed was so hard. It really hurt in the back. Carolin now opened her eyes fully and looked directly into a something that seemed to hang in the air above her head.

"What is..." Her upper body straightened with a jerk as she looked directly into the dirty, unshaven face of a monster.

Before she could even scream, she fainted.

"Tegratak, what have you done?"

Markstarak, the captain of the LISTER looked at his chief physicist on the other side of the couch.

"My captain, I paralyzed this creature before it would have begun to strain our auditory nerves."

"Blatchdep, that's not what I mean. How did the creature get into this room and onto this special couch? Wasn't your experiment supposed to transport the gummer monkey over from our sister ship KAASTEN?"

"Yes, my captain. That was the plan. But something seems to have gone wrong."

"I can see that too, Blatchdep you."

Markstarak moved closer to the couch and looked down at Carolin.

"It seems to have similarities to us Libra existences."

He carefully felt the body. As his hands stroked the breasts, his expression brightened somewhat.

"A female!"

"Let's see, Tegratak came rushing around the table and before he could even reach out his hand, Markstarak responded, "Get away from her.

Don't you dare touch her with even a grapple. She's a gift for our ever-empty ship's treasury. On Skellet, I'm sure I'll get a larger sum bid for her.

Get Mehkeon, the medic. Have him examine her and bring her back from anesthesia. She also needs a translator leaf. Surely he can manage that little procedure."

"If he's sober, certainly not. But then, he almost never is," Tegratak grinned and left the room. Markstarak was now alone with Carolin.

His hand settled on her breast again and stroked it. "Damn, why did the Libra existences keep having this damn shortage of women?"

He hastily looked around the room. There was no surveillance drone. Should he take a moment to help himself? His excitement was building.

He had just withdrawn his hand again when the bulkhead hissed aside, and Mehkeon stood swaying in the room.

"Captain, at your service."

"Put a translator in the female and cancel the paralysis."

Before the medic was past him, he grabbed him by the arm, "And keep your hands off her. Is that clear?"

Mehkeon confirmed, clenching both fists.

"When she awakens, take her to the holding cell. You are responsible to me for her integrity."

Then he left the room.

The Translator blade was inserted under the skin above the ear. The computer chip, powered by the internal scanner, moved to Broca's area, the speech center.

A gossamer connection to the ear was maintained. Medic Mehkeon was injecting an antiserum into the bloodstream to reactivate the anesthetized neural pathways when Tegratak, the physicist returned.

Some muscle strands on Carolin's body were already beginning to twitch uncontrollably.

As the spasm intensified, Mehkeon had to lean over her and hold her down so she wouldn't fall off the narrow couch.

"Why, hello there, Mehkeon. That's not the way it was meant to be."

Mehkeon glanced at Tegratak. "Cut the nonsense, she's my responsibility. If she hits the floor, I'll be in charge."

The top of Carolin's pajamas had slipped a bit and Tegratak's eyes fixed on the now bare spot on her stomach.

"Is a healthy female, isn't she?"

He became uneasy and his gaze wandered all over her body.

"She's going to the holding cell. Captain's orders."

Mehkeon let go as the body settled again and watched the eyelids, which were now opening with fluttering movements.

Carolin came to. She looked around a bit irritated and grabbed her left ear.

Only now did she realize that she was no longer at home in her bed.

Mehkeon and Tegratak watched her every move.

As she tried to sit up, she noticed them. "What is this place and how did I get here?" She had apparently caught herself somewhat.

As she tries to get up from the couch, Mehkeon and Tegratak had already grabbed her by the arms.

"You'll be secured first."

Carolin resisted the hard grips. "Let go of me. What are you doing. Where am I anyway?" she asked again, trying to free herself.

However, the grips only strengthened and then she was dragged across the floor towards the exit.

"Let me go, it hurts. Help!"

"Shut your mouth or you'll be paralyzed again."

"Help, help," Carolin continued to scream and started kicking.

That's when she got punched in the face by Tegratak and her head flew to the side. Blood ran from her nose. Her resistance was wiped away.

"Damn it Tegratak, stop damaging that bitch. The captain will smoke me if she loses value."

Mehkeon slapped against Tegratak's shoulder.

Together they continued to drag Carolin across the floor. On the way to the holding cell, they encountered other crew members. Their gazes virtually sucked at Carolin.

She tried to wipe off the blood but was stopped by her two guards.

Then they stood in front of a dirty and battered bulkhead.

The space behind it was not five square meters. They gave it a push and the bulkhead closed. Carolin fell to the floor. The room was otherwise empty.

With bloody hands, she sat down against the farthest wall, leaned against it, and looked distraught toward the bulkhead. What was going on here? What had happened to her?

The first tears flowed. She could not and would not hold them back. The room was in semi-darkness.

The lighting didn't seem to work properly. The floor felt warm. If you didn't know where the bulkhead was, you couldn't have guessed the exit, so even were the walls.

A steady hum was over the room. Otherwise, no sound could be heard.

What were these creatures that had brought them here? Carolin felt her ear again. She had a slight, stabbing pain there and a tingling sensation continued up into her nasal cavity.

The nose had stopped bleeding. Her whole top was smeared with blood.

Now she was sitting on the floor in her nicki- pajamas, not really knowing what to do. And she really needed to get some for little girls.

She also didn't think that banging her fists against the bulkhead was going to help anything. The whole situation was more than surreal.

Only briefly did the thought occur to her that it was all a dream after all.

She still felt the pain from the blow on her nose. After an hour of silence and waiting, Carolin could no longer stand the pressure of her bladder.

In addition, she already felt a traveling and pulling in the kidney area.

She probably did not have to feel observed. In any case, there was no such device to be seen. But even that had become completely indifferent to her now. She went to a corner, pulled down her pajama pants and squatted down.

It took a while, then she felt visibly better.

Time passed and nothing happened. Was she supposed to make herself known somehow? What did they want from her?

Now she remembered the one guy's statement. She had a certain value for someone. Whatever that meant.

She huddled against the wall, trying to give herself courage inside. That's when she hears a noise on the outside of the bulkhead.

There was a hiss and the exit opened. Still not trusting the opportunity, she remained seated on the floor.

Bright, artificial light fell in from outside. Didn't she hear someone talking?

She thought she heard at least two different voices. The exit remained open.

Cautiously, Carolin stood up and slowly walked towards the exit. In any case, it could only be better out there than in this dungeon.

She hadn't quite stuck her head out yet when she was brutally yanked to the side.

She hit her head hard on the floor.

"Not here. We need to get out of here with her as soon as possible before someone can watch us. Come on, put her over your shoulder."

Salinas pulled the downed Carolin up with a flourish and Pestosah put her over his shoulder.

She began to struggle, kicking and banging her fists against his back.

Salinas stood in front of her, lifted her head a little and said, "Be quiet, female. Do you want to go back to the room? You'll be better off with us."

Salinas and Pestosah ran crouched, like thieves, along the corridor and turned into a side corridor through a manually lockable hatch.

After another ten meters, they reached a makeshift room that had seen better days.

The paint on the walls was no longer recognizable as such. The furniture seemed to have been patched up several times. A table, two couches and a cupboard, there was nothing more. In the back corner stood an instrument console, like a creature from another time.

The light metal just flashed with cleanliness and the holo-screen that had slid out of the console panel was the latest technology. Salinas laid Carolin down on one of the couches.

"Lie still," he pointed a finger at her.

Startled by his expression, she looked from him to Pestosah.

"The top is smeared with blood. Take it off."

Both stood in front of her and seemed to be waiting for something. Carolin ignored the request.

Pestosah pulled her off the couch with a jerk and tore the Nicki top with both hands.

"No, don't!" Carolin wanted to hold her hands in front of her chest but was prevented from doing so by a quick grip from Salinas.

"Don't, go ahead and show us your charms." Pestosah pulled her close and his hands disappeared into her pants.

"No, let me. You bastards." She tried to attack him with her fists. At the same time, she kicked his shin.

He tripped over a chair standing behind him.

Salinas laughed and in turn grabbed her breasts from behind, hissing in her ear, "Stop it or I'll break your arm."

Carolin's resistance flagged. When Pestosah's hand came down on her belly, she began to tremble.

These guys were going to rape her.

The greasy hand had reached the waistband of her pants when a voice bellowed from the holo-screen, "Pestosah and Salinas, I've got you right in my sights. Get your hand off that female right now. If you damage her, I'll throw you out the airlock into hyperspace. Mikteshah is on his way to you and will pick her up."

The two addressed were visibly startled when they recognized the voice and then also the face of Markstarak in the hologram.

As they now let go of Carolin, she quickly bent down and picked up the tattered top from the floor.

It still barely covered her nakedness. She backed away to the far corner of the room and watched them both closely.

Mikteshah had picked her up. He was still very young and almost a little shy in his manner. He did not talk much. Carolin went with him willingly.

"Just get away from those pigs," she thought. On the way, they again encountered other crew members.

They looked around for her and were feuding. Mikteshah walked on unconcerned.

Carolin tried to cover her nakedness as best she could with her torn top.
