A 40-year old bachelor was living his life alone the entire time. His parents were living away from him and his only companion in his huge house was the house maid he had been with since he was young. She took care of him like a mother should to her child.
As a working man, he had been busy taking care of his own business and he barely had leisure time for himself. Esther, the housemaid, would make sure that all of his needs were attended to accordingly.
One day, her older sister called to inform her that they were greatly affected by the crisis that hit their country. As much as she wanted to help them, she didn't have enough resources to visit them and she was always busy with her duties as house maid.
As they continued discussing possible ways to solve the issue, her older sister informed her that a niece of hers was capable of doing household chores and Esther’s employer could hire her to work for them.
“But I only have one employer. I can handle his needs alone,” Esther said.
“But you said you are too busy. Maybe Maybelline could help,” she insisted.
“Okay, I’ll talk with my boss,” she replied.
When Stoner arrived, his back was slumped against the soft sofa bed and he sighed in relief. Carefully, Esther carried his laptop bag to his room and prepared clean clothes for him. He was obviously tired.
“I have something to say Stoner,” she said nervously.
