Stephanie was a young and hardworking girl who had just finished her college education. She wanted to help her poor parents and immediately after graduation, she had applied to different law firms in her town. But after a bundle of resumes had been sent, she received no invitation for an interview.
One day, while she was scanning through a bunch of classified ads, a firm caught her attention and she immediately applied as a clerk online. She had a gut feeling about this firm and she kept her hopes high.
While she was busy washing the dirty dishes on the sink, her phone beeped and was surprised to see a notification from the Law Office of Therese Shelby. It said that she had been invited for an interview tomorrow. She could not control herself and so she let out a scream which alerted her parents.
“What happened to you, baby?” asked her mother.
“Mom, I have been scheduled for an interview tomorrow,” she giggled.
“That’s a good news, baby,” said her mother.
On that night, she prepared the needed documents for her interview. She needed to look good for tomorrow. The golden yellow dress that her mother gave to her when she turned 20 two years ago was carefully laid on her bed.
The following day, she woke up early and joined her mother in the kitchen. She was full of positivity and she knew she would make it today.
“Mom, let me help you,” she offered.
